Appearance

Alyss has dark brown hair that is mistakened for black during the winter with hazel eyes and olive skin. She is a 5'7 and her eyes turn a darker shade of green when she is angry of feeling intense emotions.
Her body is scarred throughout her body along with a tattoo on her wrist with the name "Ethan"

Powers & Weaknesses:

Alyss can create illusions and look into memories as well as take them away. She can also sense other's emotions. Taking away memories can take lots of energy and it can make her pass out. Ally tends to push herself too hard. When Ally is experiencing lots of emotions are has her flashbacks, she can't use her power of going into minds or using the wind. Alyss is very agile and flexible and can do lots of stunts and jump high in the air. She is quick-footed and loves being among the sky. For fun, she likes to make small tornadoes or use the wind to make her fly. However, when she is angry or sad, or any negative emotion her power goes out of control and she can make huge tornadoes and tear trees from its roots. The wind can make her faster and move with ease. She can use the wind to dodge and flip. She can sense other's emotions with ease but taking away memories takes a great deal of power and sometimes she sleeps after for a few days. She can create illusions; change her appearance but creating a scene and recreating someone's voice is also draining.

Alyss is brilliant at telling if someone is lying and pick-pocketing. She would make a great ally but she believes people with good intentions are hard to find. She doesn't believe that anyone gives for nothing in return and doesn't let herself be close to anyone so she doesn't get hurt if they die, leave, or betray her. If she finds someone she finds trustworthy, she will do anything to protect them.

Alyss's medium for controlling things comes through her emotions. When she is calm, focused, and untroubled she can use a great deal of energy and recover quickly. But when she is angry, sad, or overwhelmed things explode and she needs a great deal of recovery.

History:

Alyss grew up on the run with her mother and older brother, Ty. When she was growing up she was sexually abused by her father and was also beaten often. Her brother wasn’t sexually abused but was beaten along with their mother. Ty stabbed their father when their father attempted to hurt Alyss and they fled. Two years later their mother committed suicide by drug overdose and they only had each other. Alyss believed everyone did not have good within themselves except her brother.

Alyss and Ty were poor so Alyss worked as a sniper without her brother knowing. She found her mentor Drew and he taught her how to use daggers as well as the quarterstaff. Her brother found out after Alyss was learning to keep balance from jumping from tall heights and broke her leg. But Alyss wasn’t the only one keeping secrets. She found out her brother was dealing with drugs and when they were home a man walked in and shot her brother in the head. Alyss stayed with her brother and when she realized Ty was dead she buried her in the woods and fled.

Ally’s mentor took her in and all she did was train and train and train. She earned scar after scar but she didn’t really know what she was training for. Life became steady and Ally found a boy. His name was Ethan and they were the same. They were both broken in a way and they had each other. Ethan showed Ally music and along with her training, they made music. It wasn’t for anyone but them. They were happy but Ally had to leave him in order to keep him safe. She moved away and she found out that Ethan had died in a car accident trying to see her.

She started to be self-loathing and took the blame for his death on herself. She went through a period of drugs and suicidal thoughts but then after getting herself out, she started training again. She became brilliant at fighting and creating illusions and looking and taking away memories. After a while, a message was sent to her about a certain school got Draid Academy and she signed up. She would make Ethan and her brother proud.
