Introduce yourself here in a six word memoir.

And then you can talk more because we're bloggers and we do that. Make sure to discuss why you're joining the challenge, what books are on your current TBR list, and how you decide your reading expectations for the year. I kind of suck at setting those Goodreads book goals, but I've done it every year but 2016. What helps and hinders your reading?

Looking forward to speaking with all of you!

Hi, I'm Nat, and I'm not a blogger but I love Cassie and her blog and her mermaid hair and she's never steered me wrong on love or literature. So, I'm here, with a TBR list so long it gives me chest pains (in a good way?).

I teach middle school and am always steeping in at least one YA novel. I'm joining the Challenge because I suck at being in a book club, but I update Goodreads 1-2 times a day, and this pairs nicely with my already-existing 2017 goal of reading 36 new books this year. Also, I need to unplug more and reignite my writing life, and pushing myself as a reader will undoubtedly unlock something.

I have six more days of winter break and two books to finish by then: An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir -- which I'm loving --and Echo by Pam Muñoz Ryan. Add me on Goodreads and look at my extensive TBR list!

Nicole (ncontreras) | 1 comments Hey Everyone,

My name is Nicole Contreras. I do have a blog but I am not very good with being active on it. Mainly I love Instagram and post my bookish things on there so.

Soooo in essence I asked Cassie if she was doing a reading bingo and she mentioned she was thinking about doing a reading challenge and bam here I am.

At the moment my tbr pile and currently reading pile are recent books that I snagged and books I have left over from last year or years ago.

However, for the challenge I am not sure yet. I have finally put together my reading journal so soon I will start looking at what books for what.

I am a current student at Alliance Theological Seminary working on my Masters of Divinity, initially it was a MA in Biblical Lit, focusing on the Old Testament, but I think God is moving me in a greater direction than I had in mind. I have a BA in English: Creative Writing and a BFA in Art: Photography.

I am super excited for this challenge and out of all the book challenges I am attempting to participate in, this one is really the only one that I really want to do like get 'er done.

You can find me on Ig as ncontreras83 and if I end up really blogging for this, which I might, I will let you all know.

Nicole
