Well, I did decide to start this...four chapters in so far. A trifle predictable but so far a fun story.

You're welcome Lisa. I have not had a chance to read this book yet. Got it as a Kindle freebie though and will try to get to it after I finish the book I am reading.

Reading this now and felt it had a bit of a slow start but seems to be getting more interesting.

Finished this last night. Once it got moving I loved everything about it.

For those who have finished, which was your favorite character?

Adelina was one of my favorite characters. I enjoyed that she grow as a person. A par that I found humorous was when Adelina walked through the mucky muck in her fancy shoes

I loved "Dee" as well. Thought that was hilarious when she walked through the mucky stuff in her dress shoes. This book was just "peppered" with great gems. Pepper Basham has not been added to my new favorite authors list.

I'm about 2/3 of the way. I love Lou, Reese's little girl!

She was so adorable and had such a wonderful happy personality.

I am only about 100 pages in. Love the whole Mitchell clan. I especially love how spunky Rainey is coming across. Since I haven't finished, I wonder if she will have her own story.
