I saw this article in my local newspaper a few weeks ago (and put it aside to post then forgot) about a lady who lives about 30 miles from me. She creates tiny queen faces, butterflies, chickens and more on glass buttons!
These buttons can take up to several months to create with painstaking patience. She sells them on Etsy.com and her website Jodie McDougall Studios and prices range from $15-$120. She said "People who buy her buttons usually are looking for that one special piece to attach to a knitted scarf, hat, sweater or tunic"
She also makes and sells rings, beads, pendants and earrings.
