Happy New Year of Reading! Here are your January 2017 Mini Challenges . . .

RULES

** Books DO NOT all have to be mysteries. You can use any genres.

** A book can only be used once for this challenge, but can be used for other challenges (Seasonal, World Trip, Ultimate, etc.).

** You DO NOT have to choose books in advance, and can change your mind at any time if you do.

** Do as many as you are able and have fun!

1. January 1 is New Year's Day and January 28 is Chinese New Years: Read the first book in a series you have not read before.

2. January 5 is National Bird Day: Read a book with a bird on the cover or in the title

3. January 8 is Male Watcher's Day and January 12 is Feast of Fabulous Wild Men Day: Read a book with a man on the cover (from waist up will do. Sorry — Snowmen, Gingerbread men and voodoo dolls DO NOT count.).

4. January 27 is Punch the Clock Day: Find a book with a clock, watch or a calendar on the cover.

5. January 31 is Inspire Your Heart with Art Day: There are some great covers out there, as well as some that aren't so great. Whether beautiful or zany, Interesting or romantic, choose a book based on the cover.

The Red Thumb Mark by R. Austin Freeman (26/01/17)
Maybe not that fabulous or watchable, but it does have men on the cover.

4. January 27 is Punch the Clock Day: Find a book with a clock, watch or a calendar on the cover.

An Uncollected Death (The Charlotte Anthony Mysteries Book #1) by Meg Wolfe (12/01/17)

5. January 31 is Inspire Your Heart with Art Day: There are some great covers out there, as well as some that aren't so great. Whether beautiful or zany, Interesting or romantic, choose a book based on the cover.

Aunt Dimity and the Deep Blue Sea (An Aunt Dimity Mystery, #11) by Nancy Atherton (14/01/17)
Okay, so I like this cover because its both simple, and yet visually eye-catching.
