Hi All, The Kindle version of my travel memoir about Yemen, Tracking the Queen of Sheba (https://www.amazon.com/Tracking-Queen...), will be offered for free download on Wednesday, Jan. 4. This should be of interest to anyone interested in the historical basis of the Biblical story of the Queen of Sheba, the country of Yemen or Middle Eastern archaeology in general. The book recounts my adventures accompanying an American archaeological expedition to the eastern wilds of Yemen in 1984 to learn more about the ancient civilization of Saba, which was almost certainly the equivalent to Biblical "Sheba." It includes interviews with two of the top South Arabian scholars of that era, Albert Jamme and Gus Van Beek, who provide very different interpretations of the historicity of the Queen of Sheba story. Thanks for allowing me to post this!
