Hi All, The Kindle version of my travel memoir about Yemen, Tracking the Queen of Sheba (https://www.amazon.com/Tracking-Queen...) will be offered for free download on Wednesday, Jan. 4. This should be of interest to anyone who wants to delve into the Biblical story of the Queen of Sheba, the country of Yemen or Middle Eastern archaeology in general. In this book, I related my adventures accompanying an American archaeological expedition to the eastern wilds of Yemen in 1984 to learn more about the ancient civilization of Saba, which was almost certainly the equivalent to Biblical "Sheba." In large part, these archaeologists were following in the footsteps of famed explorer Wendell Phillips, whose classic Qataban and Sheba could have been a model for an Indiana Jones movie.
