Egwyene finally makes her play for power. Has it worked? I'm not quite sure. She's been clever about giving her more power with the declaration of war, but now she's longer able to feign her meekness.

Rand goes over the deep end and pulls out Calamdor and kills a lot of his own people in the process. From the sounds of it however it was effective in defeating the Seanchan. Was it worth it though?

I really liked Egwene's play for power. Will have to see how it works out.

Rand's battle was crazy I had a hard time following everything that was happening. Hope his lightning strikes at least killed all those whining nobleman.

Man this book I really have to dig my heels to get through the sections, I have listened 25% of this book dozing off.

I had reached chapter 22, but again started from 19, but the worst part is fell asleep again :P.

This book has seen a explosion of minor characters which I really don't care about, also Rand is becoming a tough read.
