I joined this challenge after reading about it on Romance Novels for Feminists blog. And since I have been in a reading slump for the first time in 20+ years and hoped that this challenge would kick me back into reading high gear. That didn't happen for several reasons, one being that work has been busier than expected but I did take the time to select several books from my TBR that fit the challenge categories and one that was recommended here that I would have otherwise never found.
I just wanted to say that while I didn't read anywhere near the number of books I hoped, the books I picked because they fit the guidelines and most especially the book I read from the recommended list "How to Be a Normal Person" by T.J. Klune, were awesome.
Most importantly I wanted to say THANK YOU for hosting the challenge and for putting so many amazing books in my reading path. While I didn't read many of them yet, I have added a bunch to my To-Buy List.
This challenge really helped me broaden my reading. I read several books that I wouldn't have otherwise, and I loved some of them. I plan to continue adding diversity into my reading. Thanks so much for arranging this.
