Is there a format that we should post in?

Douglas (pegamooseg) | 1 comments I am seeking representation and could use help. I have self-pub'd my first three books. One of my WIPs is a collection unique fairy tales encapsulated in a frame story. The premise is a dad is home with his two children for the first time while the mom is away on a business trip. When the kids get into trouble, dad tells them a story to help them. The stories cover topics like lying, cleaning up messes, procrastination, and other life lessons. My editor suggested that I seek representation for this collection, because he believes it to have mass appeal. Most of the agents I have queried for representation prefer retellings of classic tales instead of fresh stories. They consider these short fiction, which is something they do not represent. If you know of an agent who is a better match, or could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate the help. Thank you!
