Can i have a psychic heroine- can see ghosts, future, past, etc. who helps on an investigation to catch murderer etc.

Kay Hooper seems to have a number of books around this theme. But they're not cozy mysteries

The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting. An awesome YA series about a girl who has a "power" to sense dead bodies—or at least those that have been murdered. Since she was a little girl, she has felt the echoes that the dead leave behind in the world... and the imprints that attach to their killers.

Murder in Scorpio by Martha C. Lawrence features Elizabeth Chase, Parapsychologist, Psychic Private Investigator.

When the Dead Speak by S.D. Tooley features Samantha (Sam) Casey, a Native American detective sergeant who can hear the dead speak.

You might like the Corine Solomon series by Ann Aguirre. The main character uses a skill called psychometry (she can tell what happened to objects or the owner's of the objects that meant a lot to them by touching the objects)

The Ghost Of A Chance series is interesting. I've read the entire series, and the MC is a psychic who gets involved in a lot of weird stuff. Her best friend is a N.A. policewoman.

It might be a book by Darynda Jones. She describes herself as part time investigator and full time Grim Reaper. The series starts out with First Grave on the Right. Her uncle is a detective for the Albuquerque Police Department and she has an "in" with one of the most powerful beings in the universe, the part-human, son of Satan. She helps her uncle solve cases since she can talk to the dead.

There are also some books by Linda Lael Miller and the character's name is Mojo Sheepshanks. She sees dead people and helps them with their problems that keep them from being able to pass over.

The books by Linda Lael Miller are called Deadly Deception and Deadly Gamble. Sorry for the delay with the names, I had to go and find the books.

Oh... I didn't find it a tragic story...

Eyes of Laura Mars : a novel is a stand alone. It was made into a movie starring Faye Dunaway and Tommy Lee Jones. (This is the first movie I ever remember actually noticing Tommy Lee in, and I had to go find the book it was based on.)

Do you want historical? A lot of Jayne Ann Krentz's historical books (published as Amanda Quick) deal with psychics.

The Autumn Rain series by Rachel Ann Nunes also features a protagonist who uses a psychic ability to help solve mysteries.

Shuman's Sherry Moore books are really good, but darker.

It's a "true" story (as in this happened, but there is debate about how much the psychic really helped) and the one that brought me to this site in the first place.

I found it a compelling read when I read it 20 years ago, and when I re-read it last year. It goes quickly.
