Anika wandered around, absolutely bored out of her mind. Vixen had kicked her out of the house and, since it was Wednesday, she still had to wait a whole dang day until she could meet up with Derek again. So, being bored of the mountain and the forest, she tried the woods. Mostly because it had a lake.
She saw a... boy? girl? sitting in a tree by the lake and frowned. "Hiya!" She called, waving.

Aaaand their voice gave no help. "Why are you in a tree?" Anika asked.

((I vote yes!))

"Touché." Anika shrugged. "What's your name?"

The names were no help either. "Coolio. I go by Nika. Mostly." She nodded. "Nice hat," she commented.

Anika pursed her lips. "I give up." She shook her head. "Are you a guy or a girl?"

Nika made a face. "Uh huh... But which are you?"

"Anika." She shrugged. "I'm gonna side with Hugh..."

Anika shrugged again. "I don't know who he is."

Anika nodded slowly. "Bloke is a fun word. It's like Francesco."

"Because I'm bored. Why are you petting a rat?" Anika countered.

Anika made a disgusted face. "Your friends wanted to eat it?" She repeated slowly.

"Oh that makes sense." Anika nodded. "Humans are odd creatures."

"In what sense?" Anika questioned.

Anika disappeared. "Vanisher. How about you?"

"Fun!" Nika reappeared. "I have a friend who's a Technopath."

"Boredom," Nika stated. "Aaand call me Nika."

"Mmmm nope." Nika shook her head. "I'm not. It's actually really difficult to offend me."

"Uhh sure!" Nika nodded. "Where did you get your rat?"

"What?" Nika made a face. "Okay. Um. I have no idea.." She frowned. "How did you I have a boyfriend?"

"What's going on with my face?" Nika asked, swinging herself up into the tree next to Kai's.

"I was unaware there was such a look." Nika nodded slowly.

"Ehh I guess so. His name is Derek. Or at least that's what I call him. I'm not even going to try and pronounce his whole name." She chuckled.

Nika cocked her head. "I just... What does your mother think you are?"

Nika pursed her lips. "You're very unhelpful."

"Sooo you actually just let them all be confused?" Nika asked.

"And apparently me too since I've sided with him." Nika grinned back.

"Is he super annoying?" Nika asked.

"Coolio. Where did your rat go?" Nika hopped down from her own tree.

"Did you name it?" Nika asked, looking around for the rat too.

"Oh that's fun." Nika chuckled. "How long have you had him?"

Nika face palmed. "And how long ago was that?"

"When did Reg try to eat him? How long ago was it?"

Nika nodded. "Alrighty!" She looked around. "Now I'm bored."

"I'm usually not bored." Nika copied Kai's face.

"Hmmmm yeah sure bugging someone sounds fun." Nika grinned.

"That sounds even better! But I dunno where he is. Hmmm." Nika thought for a moment, then pulled out her imparter and hailed him.

Anika smiled at him, kind of guiltily. "Catch you at a bad time?" she asked.

Nika grinned. "Exactly! This is Kai. by the way."

Anika raised an eyebrow. "Who's Leon?"

"Trainer of what?" Anika pressed.

Anika sighed in annoyance. "Fine. Tell Leo that Anika said her dad thinks he's dumber than a lemming and she shares the opinion." She grinned.

"That was Derek and uh, good question." Anika frowned and put her imparter away. "Leo is a meany pants." She nodded.

"Yeah!" Nika nodded. "Who's Leon?"

"Oh how fun." Nika made a face. "Hey maybe we should go bug him!"

"Hmmmm darn. How old's his kid?" Nika asked.

Nika popped her head into the imparters view and waved. "Hi random person!"

"No I am not. Excellent observation." Nika nodded.
