What books sound good we have three categories.
Just a good stand alone novel
A new series debuted this year
Favorite Laurie halse anderson

I think for stand alone I have two on my mind.
The Outsiders by S.E Hinton
And
Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
I know The Outsiders is kind of an older book, but I absolutely love love love it!

If you were to choose a series I would pick 'The Keatyn Chronicles' by jillian Dodd. I love this series and the last book comes out in August so we would have a future BOTM

I'd say a pretty good stand alone novel would be the Cadet of Tildor
