I am definitely starting tomorrow!

I'm only about 20% in but so far I am not liking this one as much as I thought. It's a lot more "spacey" than I expected so I'm having trouble grasping the terminology and war on science that's happening. Maybe it's just me?

Sidonia(view spoiler)[ it seems like Nemesis protected her so much (and maybe mom) that she seems sheltered instead of protected. She doesn't seem to have a self preservation bone in her body. I'm not sure she'd be good at taking her father's place. I hope they plan to train her soon (hide spoiler)]

Nemesis(view spoiler)[ The one flaw - Sidonia seems like she's definitely less safe now that she's gone...

I guess this is proving that what is fed into you makes you believe things that may not be true about yourself
like that Nemesis couldn't feel any emotions except what they told her she could. but she definitely can feel others (hide spoiler)]

Tyrus(view spoiler)[ I figured he would end up an ally. I don't think he's as crazy as he seems. it's just easier to act that way

Neveni(view spoiler)[ i"m glad she ended up being a good friend. I was nervous about her at first but when she came to protect her - I knew she was good.
I'm glad that Nemesis hasn't hurt her. I just hope she is able to come with nemesis when she and Tyrus do whatever they do and then run (hide spoiler)]

I finally started enjoying this one about a third of the way in but I still didn't like it nearly as much as I expected. I couldn't connect with the writing style and I felt like the author was dumping all these names and ideas into the story but I had no idea what they meant. I still don't get the "living cosmos" completely and I don't plan to continue with the series to figure it out.
