Looking forward to sharing thoughts on books read throughout the year.

Kasia Burlakoff | 53 comments My reading plan for January is going pretty good. I'm in the middle of the fourth book from my list. I must say I like the idea of making a list TBR in a month. It spares me a decision of 'what to read next'.

Silver Thistle (silverthistle) Good luck with your challenge1 Four is a great start and you have a great list for January. I just finished #6 Darcy by any other name and that was my first for this month. I have it in paperback and it was like a housebrick to carry around, hahah

Kasia Burlakoff | 53 comments Lol, I know the feeling. I bought my Kindle after a flight from overseas,. My paper book was so heavy, I had to take a few items out of my carry on luggage,

Well done on YTD progress! The Gypsy Blessing is just lovely isn't it? It's a unique premise that Wendi came up with. I must get around to reading the sequel.

message 22: by Kasia (new)

Kasia Burlakoff | 53 comments It's lovely, and I was pleased that it didn't feel overdone or silly. It just fits with the characters and the premise.

Sheila Majczan (sheilalmajczan) | 1301 comments I enjoyed both books.

Anna (annaeccentric) | 105 comments I'll be starting My Mr. Darcy & Your Mr. Bingley soon, so I'm glad to see you really liked it!

I loved the first part of the book more than the second part. My quibbles are about Jane and the way D&E relationship was progressing.

I'll keep that in mind. I'm just looking for a light book after the WWII one I just finished...very good but depressing.

Kasia Burlakoff | 53 comments I hear you, Anna. :) It has a lot of humor, so it should do fine. The one I laughed hard while reading was Mr. Darcy's bad Day. If you want to read it, I can lend it to you from my Kindle library.

Thanks, that is so sweet of you! I'd love to read it. I've never done the Kindle lending thing, so just let me know what you need me to do.

The Willow Hall Romance was very good, especially Book 1 and 4, Conceit & Concealment, Particular Intentions, Mr. Darcy Came to Dinner, Being Mrs. Darcy, An Accidental Darcy

message 40: by Abigail (new)

Abigail Bok (regency_reader) Thanks, Kasia! I've especially heard good things about Mr. Darcy Came to Dinner. Fresh meat for my TBR!

message 41: by Kasia (new)

Kasia Burlakoff | 53 comments Yes, it's a great farce at first, then it becomes more serious and touching.
