Introduce Yourself
Hello, I am Faith. I am 23 years old. I have published one book of my own and am working on book #2 in the series. I was allowed the privilege of reading "Resistance" in order to review it and absolutely loved it! :)
Hi I am Jen, I am old, (33) :) I am a book worm, photographer, crafter, coffee drinker, etc. I love "Resistance" and according to the quiz I am most like Kaden.
Hi! I'm Emily, a thirteen year old animal loving bookworm. I am working on my own book and I spend all my spare time writing!!!
I'm Katie, a fourteen year old Christian. *waves* I love to read, babysit, hang out with friends, and play the piano. I have just started writing at the beginning of this year, thanks to Jaye for the inspiration from her books. It's amazing how much it's taken over my life ;) Resistance is my favorite book, and I'm rereading it for the third time :) I love it so much!
Yay! I'm so excited to have you all in the group! I can't believe I even have a group for Ilyon Chronicles. It's still unreal that Resistance is finally out.
Hi Jaye! Hi everyone! Thank you for inviting me to this group:)I'm a Christian book blogger at JoJo's Corner
http://www.jojosutiscorner.wordpress.com
I'm also an inspiring writer...Harlequin has just asked to see my complete novel (fingers-crossed!)
I have a 2 year old son and my hubby is a Pastor.
I'm addicted to books and iced coffee.
(: Nice to meet ya!!!! :)
I'm Morgan, a homeschool graduate as of tonight, an author, aspiring violinist, and a huge fan of Ilyon Chronicles. :)
I'm Erika, a 20-something editor who also writes. I was homeschooled through college and then attended Bible grad school. I greatly enjoyed Resistance and look forward to more.
When I'm not editing, writing,or reading, I enjoy going on outdoorsy adventures. (They aren't nearly as exciting as Kyrin's and Jace's.)
For me to live is Christ! (Phil. 1:21). www.writtenrest.wordpress.com
Welcome everyone!
Nice to have you Patrick. :) Hope you enjoy it when you get a chance to read it.

Hi! I'm Kendra, a writer, reader, and knitter. My weapon of choice is either my pen or a big stick (my fancy name for a quarterstaff). I was a huge fan of the Makilien Trilogy, and I love Ilyon even more! (Probably because there's already a twin in book one, while I had to wait until book three with Makilien. Twins make just about any book awesome.)
Hey all, I'm Shantelle, homeschool graduate, lover of books, writer at heart, :)I love Molly/Jaye's books, especially Resistance!! So excited for The King's Scrolls!!! :)
I'm writing my own fantasy series, and have recently finished the first book. Hoping to self publish after editing... :)
Anyway, thanks for adding me to this group!! :)
Hi I'm Rebekah, I just turned fifteen and my birthday is the reason I have just joined the ranks of Resistance fans! :D (My birthday present, precious!) I'm now a huge fan and I will try not to spam this group too much with my mindless Jace fangirling. :)
Hi, I'm Claire, homeschool graduate, current physical therapy student, published author. Resistance is probably now one of my favorite books! I love everything about it, *cough*especially Jace*cough*. I can't wait for the second one!!
Hello my name is serena. I love Resistance and I can't wait to read The Kings Scrolls!!!!!! I am homeschooled and I love reading!!!! I especially love fantasy. and I am glad to be in this group. P.S I REALLY LOVE JACE.
Faith wrote: "Welcome, Ruth! I don't think there's anybody here who don't love Jace. ;)"thank you I am really glad to be in this group!!!
:D I passed Resistance on to my younger sisters, and they all loved it!! It's one of our favorite books.
Jaye wrote: "Welcome Claire and Serena! So glad to have you here! And I love that you love Jace. :)"thanks! :)
Hi! I'm Beckah--or Ghost Ryter, as my profile says. I've just read Resistance and was overwhelmed with how fantastic a book it was! A little about me: I'm a teenager girl who reads when she should be doing other things; a writer; prone to fangirling; a child of the King.
Aww, thanks Beckah! I'm thrilled you enjoyed it so much! And welcome to the group! I'm always excited to see new members. :)

Hello! I just (Like within the past 15 minutes) finished Resistance. I think it's my favorite book ever right now! At least favorite fiction book. I am so excited for the next book!! I plan on trying to do some fan art in the near future, but I'm about to get crazy busy, so we'll see! ;)My name is Madison, and I am also homeschooled! If I had to give a list of my favorite characters, it would probably be; Jace, Kyrin, Kaden (I actually knew a guy named Kaden when I was younger. Seriously, Kaden is one awesome brother - he made me cry a lot), Trev and Liam. I liked Trev from the start and was super happy to find out he was on their side! :)
Super excited to have found this group!
Welcome, Madison! I'm so glad you joined us here and am delighted you enjoyed Resistance so much! I'd love to see your fan art if you have a chance to do any! :D
Thank you, Jaye! I was just marveling at how in this day and age I have the opportunity to actually get to communicate with awesome authors like yourself! :D I can't get over how much I love your book! I'm thinking about buying some copies for some friends (and myself! I got the Kindle version but it would be awesome to have it in hard copy as well XD)And yes, I started to do a sketch last night and want to try and keep working on it tonight.
Hi, I'm Micailah! I am fifteen years old, a christian, a homeschooler, a writer and a book-aholic.:) I simple adore Resistance and I can't wait for the King's Scrolls!!
Hi! I’m E. Elizabeth, a homeschooled lover of literature. My hobbies include writing, knitting, petting my cat, drinking lots of tea, and reading when I’m supposed to be doing other things. And, of course, I adore Resistance! I finished it a few weeks ago and I’m still not over it.
26 days until The King’s Scrolls!!! So close yet so far away…

Welcome E. Elizabeth! Your review of Resistance almost made me cry, by the way. Thank you so much! It was lovely. :)
Thanks you guys!!
And thank you, Kendra, for that warning. It has been duly noted. o_o How much could go wrong? ………..don’t answer that.
I’m so glad you liked it, Jaye! I meant every word! Resistance was incredible. I have read a lot of books, and it definitely stands out. From what I’ve heard about TKS, I’ll probably cry when I read it, so then we’ll be even. XD

Welcome to the group, E. Elizabeth! If you cry over books, you'll definitely cry over TKS. I've only ever cried over one book, Bridge to Terebithia, but TKS brought me pretty close. And how much could go wrong...Well, Jaye isn't as mean to her characters as Suzanne Collins, but still...
Well then, it appears I’m doomed. o_o Good to know that it’s not as bad as Suzanne Collins’ books, though. And besides, the thing I love about Christian books (and real life) is that there’s always hope.
Sidenote: anyone know where I can buy chocolate and tissues in bulk? XD

Welcome E. Elizabeth! :D I simply adore your profile pic!! Oh dear, now I'm a little worried...but very excited about TKS! I love books that make me emotional (whether happy, angry, sad, scared etc). Hmm, chocolate and tissues? Hmm, I bet the Dollar Store has both, so you- scratch that, WE can buy a lot for less money XP
Well, fortunately TKS comes out right after Valentines day, so there should be bulk chocolate on sale pretty much everywhere. Tissues? I have no idea. Walmart or the Dollar Store, either one would work, I'm sure.
welcome to the group E.Elizabeth!! ya the dollar store is definitely the best place to find the stuff you need :)
Welcome E. Elizabeth! :DOh no. TKS had better not make me cry. I hate books that make me cry. They get really low ratings... O_O But we can hope I don't!
TKS is sad, but it isn't sad without reason. At first it seems as if there's no purpose, but then you see that it had to happen. And actually, the sad parts are the ones I flip to most to reread when I'm rereading bits.
Morgan wrote: "TKS is sad, but it isn't sad without reason. At first it seems as if there's no purpose, but then you see that it had to happen."What she said. At first you're going to go WHY!!!, but by the end, you'll see that it just had to happen that way. And luckily the really sad stuff is in the middle, so it ends on a much happier note.
