Non-fiction. I was going to read this last year and did not get to it. Fascinated by plague type tales.

I would have given this book 5 stars but I hated the ending, very open ended. This book is about a 19 year old girl that was married only three weeks when Nazi's invaded her home country of Poland. Her husband was forced to disappear underground with the resistance and Emma ended up working for a high raking Nazi officer under a new identity. After falling for the Kommandant, what will happen when he learns her true identity??
