I just finished No one's watching by Sandy Green. Its about a dance camp and this girl is expected to follow her grandmothers and mothers footsteps by dancing at a ballet studio and teaching dance. While she loves dance in general, at camp she discovers Irish dance which is forbidden. I dont read books about dance and I really enjoyed this novel.

Mao's Last Dancer by Li Cunxin

While this book is primarily about a dancer, I found it rather eye opening as I do not know much about what was like in China during the time it was set.
