Women in Science: 50 Fearless Pioneers Who Changed the World - Rachel Ignotofsky
I really enjoyed this book about 50 women of science who often faced big hurdles to get their educations, let alone excel in their chosen fields. Perfect for middle or high school girls who may be inspired to follow in their footsteps. I also loved the artwork.

Ohh, I'm always up to read inspirational stories about women in science, they are always a boost for me to be better at what I'm doing. Nice one, Anne! Thanks for sharing.
For a fiction choice in this category I read Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. Excellent book that would easily fit into a sci-fi category as well about time travel and the butterfly effect. I really enjoyed this book, lots of action and unexpected turns.

That will be a perfect choice for me because I do have this book already and have been meaning to read it for a while! YAY, I'm reading this as well!

Vinegar Girl by Anne TylerI liked how it is not sci fi (even thought I like the genre) or factual. It's about Kate whose eccentric scientist father is about to loose his lab assistant as his visa is expiring.
Im thinking of reading Contact , the book to the Jodi Foster film, but I haven't decided yet. I have it on audiobook.
by Luke DittrichNonfiction. 5 stars. If you liked The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, you will probably find this fascinating.
