The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George

I just loved this book, especially how there are quite a few references to other books (I am even going hunting to find one of them).

And I loved the idea of the Encylopedia!

My Reading Life by Pat Conroy. I found this book by accident, but I love it. I was pleasantly surprised that the author grew up within an hour of where I live so I recognize his old stomping grounds. Often very sensitive and poetic, definitely articulates what it is to be a lover of books.

84, Charing Cross Road by Helene Hanff, told in epistolary form, is a favorite of mine.

Howards End Is on the Landing: A Year of Reading from Home by Susan Hill is pretty good, though she does get a bit wordy and, at times, is too meandering. Still, I enjoyed her anecdotes and musings.

Though I've not read it, Browsings: A Year of Reading, Collecting and Living with Books, is on my list for 2017.

I have had this as a to read for a long time. I started it once, and put it back - I don't remember why. I'll have to give it another go!

I read Camino Island by John Grisham Definitely different. If you are looking for a legal thriller, this isn't the Grisham for you. The main character is a bookstore owner and a rare book dealer on Camino Island. I liked the book, but was a little disappointed in the ending - I won't say more as I might mention a spoiler. It was an easy read - on the romance mystery end of the spectrum.

Sounds enjoyable. I love reading about people who hang out at bookstores :)
