Haney was walking along the street when he saw Maya sitting at the lake. He walked over to her and sat down next to her.
((Same. Last day of it for me!!!))
"Don't worry, I'm not your dad. I just saw you were sitting alone and thought I'd give you some company," he smiled at her and tilted his head in that way he usually does.
((Sorry, I tried posting like 7 minutes ago, but I have horrible service so it won't post easily!))

((I will when I have enough time to, prob later tonight))
"Thanks." He said. The sun was setting and it reflected off the lake with an orange and yellow glow.

((But you put down that she was originated from Pan, not actually him... So wouldn't she just be related?))
"I think you're from the Peter Pan story, but I don't know which character you would actually be," he said looking at her.
"I'm still me! I still believe that the curse is real and that Emma is the saviour! She needs to break the curse!" He said defensively.
Ariel liked her freedom. No one telling we what to do. Not until she got home. She put her eyes above the water and looked at two people sitting on a bench. 'Are they a couple?' She thought. 'I wonder what it's like'
She cocked her head and swim closer to them but slid a bit underwater the closer she got. What were they saying. The boy just asked the girl her name so they weren't a couple.
Ariel smirked at the awkwardness of the two people. She liked them already. Even though she has spoken to several humans, these ones seemed different. She couldn't put her finger on why though.
Ariel debated whether or not to tell them her real name. If she did, she would have to reveal that she was a mermaid. If not, they would beer know the difference. "Alex." She decided on. Best tell them later. Just in case.
She repeated her answer to the boy. "Alex." She lied. She would tell them in due time if they were trustworthy.
"I like it in the water." She said. 'Great. This guy knows who I am. Father is not going to be happy. I need to find a way for them to not see me for who I am.' Her mind clicked. 'The cove' "I'll be right back. I need to get my towel and then I'll come." She swam away to the cove. Luckily a person forgot their towel. Ironically, it had Ariel on it.
Ariel crawled onto the shore and laid down in the sun so her tail could dry off. Her tail turned into two legs and a bikini bottom. 'Lets hope dad never finds out.' She thought she stood up, a bit wobbly for this was the first time in a while that she has stood up.
Ariel walked around the bend and walked over to the two people. She was wearing a purple bikini with green sequins. "Hi" she said.
Ariel laid down her towel that she had found on the ground and sat on it, legs crossed. "I missed your names. What are they again?"
"Rainey" she said. Ariel considered this for a moment. "That's a pretty name. Where did your parents come up with the name?" She asked.
She saw them looking at her wrist. "Oh. This." She said. 'Maybe I should tell them. I am obviously not a good liar'. "This is my bracelet" she said simply.
Ariel looked up. She saw the two people and they were coming back. She debated between slithering away in the water or staying. Too late for slithering away.
Ariel was kind of glad they left. She took off her bracelet and let her les turn into a tail. After a bit, she swam off into the water.
Astel walked on the beach and went to the water. She of her feet in. 'The water feels so nice' she thought. She looked around and realized she was the only one here. 'Strange' she thought. 'I would think there would be more people'. She shrugged and wadded a little deeper, about midshin deep.
She turned around and saw him. "Oh hey" she said casually still in the water. ((I gtg. I'll be on later))
She shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. I don't control everyone in the world." She sat down in the sand, not really wanting to get wet but still had her feet in the water.
