I am very confused on what Ray Bradbury is saying, On page 13 to 14. "As he stood there...telephone" I think he is saying that, the fireman was debating to call for help. But I am not entirely sure, I know theres more meaning to it but just can't put my finger on it.

Montag has come home to find Mildred on the bed after having taken a bottle of pills. As he is attempting to deal with the situation, planes pass overhead outside (they are jet bombers), causing the sky to "scream." Montag connects how he is feeling to the jets overhead outside: as they "scream" and shriek, he feels that way about Mildred. That they are jet bombers, to me, suggests that the setting is one following a war (in this case, most likely a nuclear war).Great question.
I agree: Bradbury's metaphor here is difficult to understand.
Clarification is very important in your work. The reason is that if your work is not clear then the people will not be able to get the right understanding of the work. The articles of the essaywriter are very clear and are of good quality.
