This book does a great job twisting and turning the plot! At times I thought I knew what would happen next or thought I knew who killed Hattie's but I was always wrong. There are so many surprises! I absolutely loved this book.

I finished this the other day, and mind was blown. I thought I had figured out so much and was wrong and wrong again. Wow!!

Yes! Exactly. Some many underlying things were happening behind the scenes from the main plot! I absolutely loved reading this book. Was there anything you didn't quite enjoy from the book?

I didn't actually care for any of the characters, but that didn't take away from although Peter ugh.... talk about a grown man refusing to take responsibility

Yikes. But I understand where you're coming from. RIGHT! Sulking in his upstairs office wishing for the city instead of helping his wife! Ugh.

Exactly pretty much all of his choices were horrible. He said no but basically let someone else make the decision for him. In all the situations. Plus Hattie, wow I mean like I felt bad for her, but I feel like and I think the author meant for it to be that way, that she was acting with everyone. She probably really did love him, but she really wasn't that nice to anyone in her life so I am not even sure she honestly was in love with him. She seemed to just use people.
