Here you can find normal horses and Pegasi, if you would like to ride one, ask Mr or Ms Roberts.

message 2: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd Acelin was washing one of the pegasi, seeing as she had nothing better to do and she loved animals. She was very thourough, but also very gentle. She was also just tall enough to reach the top of the horse, often missed by shorter campers. She didn't mind getting dirty, wet, or both. Currently she was drying the Pegasus off, making sure that there want any excess moisture anywhere to let mold grow.

((So sorry for not RP!))

As I entered the stables, I was instantly aware of a certain brown gelding at the back. He nickered when he saw me, and pressed against the stall, trying to get closer.

I smiled and walked over.

"Hey there Coco Bean." I said stroking his nose.

He snorted and nuzzled my hand curiously. I laughed. "No, no treats here buddy."

The chestnut horse whinnied in protest and turned away from me, as if to say; Foolish human. How dare ye.

I rolled my eyes at his childish antics. Chris would be amused.

Leaning against the stall, I waited for him to face me. "You know, maybe I should just go talk to that girl over there." I said, gesturing to the camper grooming a tall oxblood pegasus. "I bet she would be more agreeable."

Coco Bean tossed his mane indignantly and stamped his hoof.

I crossed my arms and stuck my tongue out. "Easy there sweetheart. Tone down the sass would ya?"

He whinnied again.

I made one last face at him and turned, marching in the direction of the other girl.

Weird And Odd Acelin didn't have to be alert to know she was approaching. When the girl got close to the stall she was in she actually talked. "Can I help you?" She said distractedly, continuing to focus on the horse in front of her. She was in a rather good mood, meaning she would actually talk to someone. Chiron would honestly be amazed.

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

I shrugged in response to the girl's question. "Nah not really. My horse is just being really sassy right now." I chuckled a little at the thought.

"Do you need help with that?" I asked, gesturing to rag she was using to rub down the pegasus. It was a big pegasus.

message 6: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd Ace shook her head. "I got it." She answered simply. She wasn't a real team member, and she really preferred to do things alone. She quickly finished drying off and started brushing the knots out of hair.

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

I leaned back against the stall and crossed my arms. "Okay." If she wanted to work alone I was fine with that.

I continued to watch as she took out a curry comb and ran circles into the pegasus' coat. Flecks of dirt fell away and puffs of dander rose up in little clouds. Underneath all the grime, he was a really pretty horse.

"What's his name?" I asked finally. "The horse."

message 8: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd Acelin shrugged. "Dunno. I didn't check before I started cleaning." She said honestly. "I'm sure his name is on the clipboard hanging by the food bucket." She offered, continuing to brush. She found it weird this girl wanted to watch her brush a horse, but if she wanted to she could.

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

I sighed inwardly. This girl made for terrible conversation. Instead of voicing this, I reached outside the stall and grabbed the clipboard.

"Thorn." I said, glancing up at the pegasus. "Is that your name?"

He nickered at the sound of my voice and turned his head to me.

I laughed. "I guess it's not based on personality huh?"

The horse nuzzled my shoulder. Nibbling my shirt gently.

message 10: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd Ace didn't bother reigning the horse in, seeing as it wouldn't do any good. All she did was duck under the wing that quickly swiped over her when the horse took a few steps towards the girl. She didn't complain, animals loved who they loved, and stopping them was just cruel. Eventually she put the brush away and started cleaning up. She was wet in large areas of her torso and legs, but because she had tied her hair up before she started, it was basically dry. She untied her long black hair to stop the tight pulling it created on her scalp.

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

I watched the girl take down her hair she started cleaning up. I narrowed my eyes curiously.

"Hey what's your name?" I asked. "I feel awkward not knowing."

message 12: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd "Ace." Was her response. She stepped out of the stall and locked it, not wanting to deal with a rampant Pegasus. "Yours?" She asked simply, continuing to busy herself with cleaning up.

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

Ace. That was unique.

"I'm Jamie." I said. I watched her tidy up and wondered if I should help. "My friends like to tell it's a guy's name, but I guess mom didn't really have that on her mind at the time."

message 14: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd Acelin chuckled. She knew Jamie was a unisex name, but that Acelin was definetly a males name. She didn't want to point that out, but she just nodded. She assumed then that the girl had a female mortal parent and male godly parent, letting her narrow down her guess by a lot. She finished cleaning up. "Well I need a shower."

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

I grinned. "I suppose so. It's not everyday you find yourself washing a pegasus."

I reached into the bin outside the stall and gave Thorn a peppermint.

message 16: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd She took her soaked jacket off to at least minimize the water weight she was carrying. "At this point in time a Poseidon child would definetly be useful." She simply, trying to not sound like a self involved narcissist as she rung out her jacket.

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

((Mind if I join with Alex?))

message 18: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd ((Hip on in, I'm cool with it!))

message 19: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd ((Hop*))

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

((K thanks))

I walked down the rows of horses, looking for Amelia. "Theoí gamóto." I cursed. "She said she'd be here."

Frustrated, I rounded the corner, nearly running into Jamie.

message 21: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd Ace could tell someone was coming, and stepped back so she wouldn't be run into. Jamie, however, almost got knocked over. She continued to wring out her jacket and shirt. "Looking for someone?" She asked, keeping her attention on her task.

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

When Ace stepped aside, I couldn't have guessed it was for a person. So when Alex round the corner, he ran straight into me, and I got a mouthful of shirt.

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

I caught Jamie before she could fall to the ground, grabbing her arms to steady her.

"Sorry!" I yelped. "I wasn't - I didn't mean to - sorry. I...yeah." I felt a blush rising in my cheeks.

Smooth, Spinner. Real slick.

message 24: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd Ace buckled to herself as she watched the awkward dude deal with the sudden collision. She, of course, wouldn't have been any better, but she had at least avoided it.

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

I felt my face get red when I noticed who it was, and made a slight squeaking sound. I tried to step back, but his hands were still on my arms (not that I was complaining).

"Oh um, you're okay. I mean, it's okay, I mean...um I'm fine."

How to discourage your crush from liking you (as told by Jamie Bea)

Step one: be a klutz and run into them

Step two: make the situation awkward

Step three: stumble over you words and act like a fool until they leave

message 26: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd Ace was smiling as she watched Jamie and the mystery-sudden-dude stumble to smooth the situation out. She didn't outright laugh at them, but she did keep her distance and smile like an idiot.

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

Awkwardly, I dropped my hands from her arms and stuffed them into my pockets. "So..." I started. "What are you doing here?"

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

I shrugged. "Oh, you know...just um, hanging out. You?"

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

"Looking for Amelia." I said, grateful for the change in conversation. "Um, have you seen her?"

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

"No." I shook my head. "Not since the beach."

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

I sighed in disappointment. "Okay. Thanks. I was hoping I'd seen her."

message 32: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd Acelin wondered if Alex even knew if she was there. She also wondered if Jamie remembered her existence. She didn't care, she was often forgotten about a lot. She could walk away and neither of them would have noticed. She didn't though, because the awkward that perforated the air was quiet entertaining for her.

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

I shrugged. "Maybe Ace has." I turned to the other girl. "Do you know Amelia?"

message 34: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd Ace shrugged. "If I were to see a picture I could would probably know, but the name doesn't ring a bell." She said honestly. She didn't know anyone's name, but she could recall any face.

message 35: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd ((Also how does Alex know her name when she hasn't said it?))

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

((Blech sorry. Let me rephrase that))

I turned to the other girl. "Hey, have you seen her? My sister Amelia? She looks just like me except her hair is lighter."

message 37: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd ((It's okay XD))

((*Insert response here*))

message 38: by [deleted user] (new)

I huffed in frustration, more with Amelia than Jamie and her friend. "Theó gamóto." I muttered. "She's really getting on my nerves this time. Is she trying to avoid me or something?"

message 39: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd "Siblings often avoid each other for a multitude of reasons. Just ask her at dinner." She said simply. "Et cesser de tirer des conclusions." She muttered under her breath. "Just be patient." She finished.

message 40: by [deleted user] (new)

"I don't think she's mad at me..." I whined. "We're practically inseparable!"

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

"Hey don't sweat it." I told Alex. "She's probably just exploring or something."

message 42: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd Ace withheld the urge to roll her eyes. "Then shes not mad at you and you just need to wait." She stated simply. "She could be doing something for you or trying to keep something private or maybe she just wants to chill alone." She explained.

message 43: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd

message 44: by [deleted user] (new)

I pouted. "I just wanted to ask her a question. Where could she possibly have gone off to?"

message 45: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd Ace shrugged. "If you don't know we probably don't know." She said honestly.

message 46: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd ((?))

message 47: by [deleted user] (new)

((Omg sorry. March Maddness))

"Yeah, she's right. You know her a lot better than we do." I elbowed him in the side. "Whatever it is, I don't think it's you."

message 48: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd ((Stacy? Where you at?))

message 49: by [deleted user] (new)

((Eep! Sorry!))

I gave a sigh of disappointment. "Well, thanks anyway guys. I guess I'll just have to wait her out."

I turned to leave, giving them a wave. "See you around!"

message 50: by Weird And Odd (new)

Weird And Odd Acelin gave a slight wave, then turned back to wringing out her wet and dirty jacket.
