((So sorry for not RP!))
As I entered the stables, I was instantly aware of a certain brown gelding at the back. He nickered when he saw me, and pressed against the stall, trying to get closer.
I smiled and walked over.
"Hey there Coco Bean." I said stroking his nose.
He snorted and nuzzled my hand curiously. I laughed. "No, no treats here buddy."
The chestnut horse whinnied in protest and turned away from me, as if to say; Foolish human. How dare ye.
I rolled my eyes at his childish antics. Chris would be amused.
Leaning against the stall, I waited for him to face me. "You know, maybe I should just go talk to that girl over there." I said, gesturing to the camper grooming a tall oxblood pegasus. "I bet she would be more agreeable."
Coco Bean tossed his mane indignantly and stamped his hoof.
I crossed my arms and stuck my tongue out. "Easy there sweetheart. Tone down the sass would ya?"
He whinnied again.
I made one last face at him and turned, marching in the direction of the other girl.

I shrugged in response to the girl's question. "Nah not really. My horse is just being really sassy right now." I chuckled a little at the thought.
"Do you need help with that?" I asked, gesturing to rag she was using to rub down the pegasus. It was a big pegasus.

I leaned back against the stall and crossed my arms. "Okay." If she wanted to work alone I was fine with that.
I continued to watch as she took out a curry comb and ran circles into the pegasus' coat. Flecks of dirt fell away and puffs of dander rose up in little clouds. Underneath all the grime, he was a really pretty horse.
"What's his name?" I asked finally. "The horse."

I sighed inwardly. This girl made for terrible conversation. Instead of voicing this, I reached outside the stall and grabbed the clipboard.
"Thorn." I said, glancing up at the pegasus. "Is that your name?"
He nickered at the sound of my voice and turned his head to me.
I laughed. "I guess it's not based on personality huh?"
The horse nuzzled my shoulder. Nibbling my shirt gently.

I watched the girl take down her hair she started cleaning up. I narrowed my eyes curiously.
"Hey what's your name?" I asked. "I feel awkward not knowing."

Ace. That was unique.
"I'm Jamie." I said. I watched her tidy up and wondered if I should help. "My friends like to tell it's a guy's name, but I guess mom didn't really have that on her mind at the time."

I grinned. "I suppose so. It's not everyday you find yourself washing a pegasus."
I reached into the bin outside the stall and gave Thorn a peppermint.

((K thanks))
I walked down the rows of horses, looking for Amelia. "Theoí gamóto." I cursed. "She said she'd be here."
Frustrated, I rounded the corner, nearly running into Jamie.

When Ace stepped aside, I couldn't have guessed it was for a person. So when Alex round the corner, he ran straight into me, and I got a mouthful of shirt.
I caught Jamie before she could fall to the ground, grabbing her arms to steady her.
"Sorry!" I yelped. "I wasn't - I didn't mean to - sorry. I...yeah." I felt a blush rising in my cheeks.
Smooth, Spinner. Real slick.

I felt my face get red when I noticed who it was, and made a slight squeaking sound. I tried to step back, but his hands were still on my arms (not that I was complaining).
"Oh um, you're okay. I mean, it's okay, I mean...um I'm fine."
How to discourage your crush from liking you (as told by Jamie Bea)
Step one: be a klutz and run into them
Step two: make the situation awkward
Step three: stumble over you words and act like a fool until they leave

Awkwardly, I dropped my hands from her arms and stuffed them into my pockets. "So..." I started. "What are you doing here?"
I shrugged. "Oh, you know...just um, hanging out. You?"
"Looking for Amelia." I said, grateful for the change in conversation. "Um, have you seen her?"
"No." I shook my head. "Not since the beach."
I sighed in disappointment. "Okay. Thanks. I was hoping I'd seen her."

I shrugged. "Maybe Ace has." I turned to the other girl. "Do you know Amelia?"

((Blech sorry. Let me rephrase that))
I turned to the other girl. "Hey, have you seen her? My sister Amelia? She looks just like me except her hair is lighter."

I huffed in frustration, more with Amelia than Jamie and her friend. "Theó gamóto." I muttered. "She's really getting on my nerves this time. Is she trying to avoid me or something?"

"I don't think she's mad at me..." I whined. "We're practically inseparable!"
"Hey don't sweat it." I told Alex. "She's probably just exploring or something."

I pouted. "I just wanted to ask her a question. Where could she possibly have gone off to?"
((Omg sorry. March Maddness))
"Yeah, she's right. You know her a lot better than we do." I elbowed him in the side. "Whatever it is, I don't think it's you."

((Eep! Sorry!))
I gave a sigh of disappointment. "Well, thanks anyway guys. I guess I'll just have to wait her out."
I turned to leave, giving them a wave. "See you around!"
