I read this a few months ago and thought it was very good, but it was one of the few books of which I was unable to determine the connection between the title and the story. (I cheated and googled it!) I'm interested to see if anyone participating this month can make the connection on their own. Something to consider while reading...
This book has been on my TBR list for a loooooong time, and I actually received it for Christmas, but unfortunately, I won't be participating in this monthly read. This may sound silly, but I kind of want to treasure this book (as I do with all my WWII fiction and nonfiction books), and save it until I have substantial time to read it. I'm already reading three books this month, and I don't want to rush through this, or worse, read some of it, and then not have the time to pick it back up. Also, this may sound silly too, but I'm not really in the mood to read it right now, if that makes sense? :p But I'm excited as to how the group will respond to it!I'm glad you enjoyed it, Erin! I think that I may know the connection to the title, because I know a little about the book already, but I'll have to see for myself when I read it :)
Sounds like a great book…looking forward to reading it! I already bought the book but haven’t started on it yet. Hopefully will get the chance to start on it next week.

I look forward to decoding the title in relation to the story.

No problem, Kelsey. Hope you enjoy it when you do read it. Also, hope we don't spoil things for you!

Glad you have a copy. Enjoy!

It is on my TBR list and has been since last year. Many of the teachers at school liked the book but many students did not. We have an annual Kindle tournament which is like March Madness but with books instead of basketball. All the Light We Cannot See will either be my spring break read or during summer break.

Awesome, hope you love it!

I’m halfway done and I’m definitely liking the book so far. Only thing is the structure with the author jumping back and forth between different time periods is a little confusing and has been slowing me down, as I have to go back and re-read some parts to remember what happened the last time we were in that time period. The story is beautifully written though – the author definitely knows how to use words to evoke vivid imagery. I read somewhere that the imagery throughout this book invokes all 5 senses, which has been true for me so far. I totally understand why this won a Pulitzer Prize….definitely well-deserved!
I've been reading this book and like it but it is taking me longer to read as well. the back and forth between chapters does slow me down but I also find myself reading slower because it is so beautifully written. I definitely won't be done with it by months end!

Perfectly understandable! I've barely broken the surface of this one. It is very beautiful writing...there is no pressure to rush through it!

Sorry you missed this one too. Hopefully we're now hitting our stride with good titles! Fingers crossed...
