Eta considers herself to be rogue, commonly known as a vagabond. This is because of her hybrid nature. She feels like she has a place in both the human and the yokai society. But at the same time, she has no place in either. Besides, several mental disturbances make her feel safe alone.

The reason Eta's sexuality is unknown is because of her fear to love. It's not that she doesn't like the idea, but she doesn't know what would happen to her- or her partner- if she gets into such a relationship.

Eta is a slim built individual, made entirely for speed. Her body is gifted with long limbs without many curves. Her skin is a flawless porcelain color, giving her eyes and overall stature a ghostly complexion. Above all of the physical perfection, Eta has a series of permanent surgery scars crossing the top of her back and shoulders. When using her ability, Eta's eyes turn a deathly black and red.

Apparel wise, Eta dresses normally. On the streets, or during buisness, she'll wear all black, along with a black jacket and her rabbit mask. Something to show her sympathy for secrecy. On off times, perhaps in town, she'll wear jeans ( or shorts with thigh high socks) , a thin green jacket, and a plain t-shirt to avoid special attention. In planned combat, she'll wear something easy to move around in, like a dark shirt and leggings. Shoes wise, Combat boots are always a necessity. She will also have her mask on.

Eta is a quiet girl with a powerful set of silent gestures. Ever since she escaped her hellish childhood, Eta hasn't talked very much, and when she has, it's normally when she's mad. Despite her petite appearance, Eta has had a silent strength to her, sometimes coming off as aggressive in the smallest conversations. It's a habit of her childhood, weakness isn't an option.

Around allies, or somewhat friends, Eta still doesn't speak very often. However, when she does, it's just a side note, or something that means something to her. Eta isn't one to say something entirely dumb. Eta slightly relaxes around these individuals, but she still does have a wall up.

In combat, Eta is silent and only peeps when she needs to give advice to her superiors.

Now you must be asking, why doesn't Eta talk a lot? Well, from past experiences, Eta doesn't have much of a filter when she speaks. And if a conflict arises, Eta won't stop until she's right. This normally triggers her anger, which has the potential to hurt her, or anybody around her. Eta also fears this, because she doesn't want to turn into her brother, or her father. And she doesn't want to end up like her mother, who died trying to protect everyone- so Eta must protect herself.

However, whenever Eta feeds, she's a different person.

A wendigo looses part of there sanity when they turn. Since Eta isn't a full wendigo, she is stuck in the middle of completely insane, and completely sane. When eating, it's a painful reminder of the person she is suppose to be. The one her father desired. That is why she prefers to eat alone. When she eats, she plays with her victim, and talks to them while they are helpless. 'survivors' have deemed the 'rabbit' to be a very realistic hell.

When Eta is disturbed while feeding, her first instinct is to kill the intruder. hysterical laughs and snarky comments often approach the victim. Her fighting style while under a binge is sadistic and dirty. but Eta always wears her mask when she fights an intruder. Because she knows that once she escapes her binge, she would be ashamed of any first impressions.

Art has always been a favorite of Eta's. The idea of creating anything with a pen or pencil is beautiful. Infact, she loves it so much that her human cover is an artist. being human-eater requires one to live among them after all.

▪ Listening
Since Eta is one of few words, Eta actually enjoys listening to others. People consider her to be more thoughtful when she listens. In fact, it mentally soothes Eta that some people think this. This also counters her annoyance for loud, cocky people.

▪ Preoccupying Herself
When Eta has off time, she always finds something to do. When she is left with nothing to do, Eta grows hungry and requires herself to eat. In fact, having hobbies prevents Eta from becoming a binge eater like a full wendigo.

▪ Loud / Cocky People
It's not that Eta likes them, she actually full on despises such people. Loud people always give Eta a headache. Infact, she hates them so much she that she might prey on a loud person. the less there is, the quieter the world is.

▪ The Light
Although Eta isn't a full Wendigo, eta still doesn't like the light. Although Eta wont suffer from physical harm from Light, Eta will suffer minor burns from touching the light. In combat, sometimes wounds caused by light bringers will effect Eta's healing capabilities.

▪ Eating
Admitting one is a Wendigo, or even half of the beast, is really hard. In fact, sometimes it is pride diminishing. this is the main reason why Eta wears a mask when she hunts, because she doesn't want anyone to know what kind of person she is.

▋strengths ▋

▪ Physical Enhancements
During combat, Eta is a threat up close, or really far away. Due to her ties with the wendigo, Eta has inhuman speed, and enhanced lower body strength. Eta's ability to move fast aids her in parkour, and hoping around ( hence her nickname the rabbit ). During combat, her ability to move fast can cause trouble when she kicks or punches. momentum is a beautiful thing..

▪ Persistence
Self explanatory, Eta has a knack for not giving up easily. Even when her life depends on it. This makes her a deathly foe when fighting, because she isnt afraid to get hurt.

▪ Hiding
To survive as a half wendigo, one must know how to hide there existence. This makes Eta thrive in areas with humans. Since she doesnt possess any permanent wendigo traits, Eta looks completely normal. Combat wise, Eta can hide within a blink if she needs to.

▋weaknesses ▋

▪ brute strength
When it comes to things, sometimes strength beats speed, if the person isn't easily overwhelmed. During combat, or even in off times, Strength is a hazard to Eta. Her inhuman strength doesn't air her to pick up large hauls, and Eta can bruise from the strongest of punches. To her, Strength overwhelms speed.

▪ Light Bringers
Not only is Eta allergic to touching light, she also cannot feast off of Light Bringers. Eating them is as bad as eating human food, and if the Light bringer is strong enough, the taste of there organs can burn her.

▪ Love
If there's one thing Eta cannot comprehend, it's love. Eta is afraid of what would happen if she got close to somebody. Would they get hurt? would she hurt them? would she eat them? Falling in love with someone is to risky, and mentioning anything about it to her brings her moral down, and sometimes her overall mental state.

" What is pain? It's a feeling I can't remember... "

A long time ago, roughly fourty five years ago, was a family in a farmhouse within the outskirts of the dust district. A second child had been brought to the world by a loving mother and father, who would be joined by a brother no older than a year. The daughter was named Eta, which meant debt collector in the god's tongue. the father had big dreams for the child, which the mother disagreed with. The brother, however, was so happy just to have a sister. This would soon change.

As the man of the house, the father's lord and savior was Homura- the deity of all beings. The father had a cold hatred for any being of light, who had disappeared long ago. He blamed Amaterasu for the loss of his family many years before, who had died in a house fire in town ( due to his necromancy obsessions. ). Kaiden Harding had been the only survivor of his family, and was forced to live out his many years of childhood as an orphan. Even before this, he had dreams of helping those opposed to light, those who chased off and killed Homura's followers. He wanted to create the ultimate warriors to destroy them, and make a harbinger for Homura.

These dreams scared Eta's mother, who had been a follower of Amaterasu before she'd met Kaiden. She'd feared for her children as they slowly grew up. Kaiden was sure his children would be blessed by Homura, and to be his swords. Kaiden, clearly, was insane.

At the age of four, Kaiden started experiments on Eta's flesh and body. They were mostly experiments to see if one's skin and body could be enhanced with black magic. At first he'd preform hexes and curses on Eta's body to give it abnormal power. But he realized the body couldn't function without a primary source of energy. And food simply wasnt good enough. Unlike Grim, who was oblivious to his sister's suffering, Eta was always quiet and deprived of energy. She always admired her brother's strength, since she thought Grim was being tested on as well. She'd asked her father why her older brother was so strong compared to her....

" Honey, there is no room for weakness. "

The words haunted Eta, which slowly grew on her personality. within two year's time, Eta began to grow cold and unsure of her emotions, but Grim grew to love her no matter what. By then, Father had started to poke at Grim. But he had another destiny for him. This caused the sibling to be away from each other more often. Grim began to change, becoming more relentless and cold But during off times, he found room to hang out and admire Eta. And Eta loved him just as much, despite her bodily handicap. Her father didn't share the same feelings, because he only saw Eta's ability handicap as a weakness. At night, he'd pray to Homura asking why she was prolonging Eta's manifestation. During this prayer, he forced Eta to eat human flesh as an offering to the night deity. Mixing this 'prayer' with a significant amount of black magic, he begged Homura why she couldn't be as powerful as her brother. At first, he got nowhere, but the Necromancer's insanity made him believe the god spoke to him:

" She's just as powerful as the day she was born. "

Living on these words, Kaiden's experiments for Eta slowly became more gruesome. Not only did the necromancer preform horrible experiments, but he also forced Eta to eat more human flesh, and learn how to fight. Unlike training with her brother, who learned how to fight with wooden weapons, Kaiden actually used real weapons towards Eta. At the age of nine, Eta would always come to the kitchen table with open wounds, for which Kaiden wouldn't allow her to clean them, or even heal them. For once in the necromancer's experiments, he got results. Eta's wounds would heal faster, and a newfound weapon formed within Eta's body- a kagune' he had called it. Eta slowly lost her ability to be happy. She was distant, her anger slowly swelling. The only time she was happy was when she was with Grim, who still loved her with unconditional love.

Kaiden slowly attempted to piece together his daughter's weakness, and assumed it was Grim. Eta's father would attack Grim and use him for experiments. Unlike the effects on Eta, Grim turned more twisted- more vile. the change in her brother sparked her rage. She had lashed out on her father, using her Kagune to hopefully kill the dignified bastard. But the necromancer used his own wife as a meat shield. Grim also found out how much of a demon Eta was, and lost all his love for her.

The farmhouse eventually was a slaughter.

In her angry state, Eta escaped her home, making her way around the Dust district. For those few years, she learned how to grow up on the streets, how to make money, and even earned enough to escape to the Crime District. From there she had managed to slip into the forces of a local gang, and hid herself as a human. It was the perfect cover.

Ever since, Eta has lived in hiding in the Crime District as an artist. Now Eighteen, She lives in a small two story loft where she runs an art shop to earn money. But behind the scenes, she is the notorious ' rabbit '. A civilized wendigo who hides among humans to gain information for guilds such as the Hatters and Anarchist. The 'Rabbit' is also a popular target for yokai hunters and light distribution, due to her nature to kill and eat unsuspecting victims.

" I have no room for excuses. All I care about is the future, even though the past haunts me... "

Since her brother's untimely death, Rui has been deemed the leader of Camp Red Lake. Due to her strong personality, Rui has been able to hold her leadership title longer than any previous head-honcho. Rui also happens to be the youngest.

Level Headed, Calm
Since Rui is an Orange class child, being calm is extremely crucial to keeping her abilities in check. In fact, her abilities are so strong not many want to challenge her, or question her when it comes to trivial matters. Rui's calm composure is enough to tell a soul that she has everything under control. There's no room for the scared child she's suppose to be.

Rui also isn't angered very easily. She has a high tolerance for idiots and loose cannons. If someone doesn't want to fall in line with Rui, she makes them fall in line ( if they cooperate ). Those who dont seem to budge normally find a comfortable place outside the safety of Camp Red Lake.

Self Conscious, Determination
While she is strong, Rui always feels the need to correct everything wrong with herself. Being a leader at such a young age proves to be unhealthy for a young mind like her's. Infact, She worries so much that she doesn't feel the community as a whole doesn't love her as much as her brother. Even though she doesn't realize it, she works so hard to be like her brother, she forgets who she really is.

Not only is this a contradicting feature, But it enhances her need to improve and do what's best for the community. However, sometimes she fails to notice that she works herself to hard, and sometimes to the point where she drops. Sometimes she even leans upon her Second in Command for advice.

Selfless, Morality
Since she is the leader of Camp Red Lake, Rui feels that she must sacrifice her desires to do what's best for the community. Even if it means she must die at some point. Such a mindset corrects her Morality, seeing things what's right and wrong without using her abilities.

Many years ago, when Rui was nothing more than an infant, she was the daughter to a wealthy aristocrat in new england. Like most kids who survived the disease, Rui and her brother were taken away from there family and placed in camps. Since Rui was so young ( and there parents were rich ) she was trusted to her brother in the camps. Since Rui was only two at the time, Rui's brother- Darwin- found it unfair how such a luxurious childhood was taken from his little sister. But due to this, Rui was able to adjust to such a horrible life, since she didn't know of the wealthy life her brother had.

However, due to this life, Darwin and Rui became close friends. When Rui was four, she had accidently preformed an orange skill called 'skin walking' on a child, accidently killing them in the process. Rui's newfound powers were hidden and kept secret between the two Odeka relatives.

When Rui was eight, she had received a lashing for messing up one of her chores- since she was to young to work on the assembly line at the time. Although Rui had recieved lashing before then, she had decided that this life- the one in the prisons- was awful. Her brother and Rui helped a group of prisoners in the blue divison escape from the prison. Almost three fourths of the prison population escaped, but only one third made it out alive.

To this day, Rui has been a citizen of Camp Red Lake, and is currently the new leader after her dead brother.

Due to severe anxiety, Rui isn't very social. She's very quiet, and often prefers to listen rather than talk. She's also afraid of saying the wrong thing. And since Rui is very young, she takes almost everything to heart. The last thing she wants to do is say the wrong thing, and find herself in tears.

When Rui is forced to talk, Rui is very careful about her words, her actions, and sometimes even her presence. This actually gifts her in the art of spying or going under cover. She knows when she's needed, and when she isn't needed. However, due to this over cautious nature, Rui often finds herself at lost with other people's thoughts of her. This causes her to improve who she is to impress others. Sometimes, she overworks herself to the point where she'll collapse with exhaustion.

If Rui actually makes friends, Rui often does what she must for that person. Sometimes she feels she owes someone something for allowing her to be their friend. Sometimes, Rui isn't afraid to die for those she cares about.

Rui was born a very normal girl, and beared the surname of a very normal family within the Seasonal District. She lived within a farmer's family, and farmed for most of her childhood. However, her family was of yokai nature. All they wanted was to live peacefully. No violence, no trickery. Just a life.

This, however, didn't last long.

When Rui was twelve, her family's house was ransacked by slavers. Her mother and father were taken, but Rui had managed to get away. She ran away and hid like a fugitive, even moving to the Crime district to hide within the dangerous territory. Ever since, Rui has jumped around by different names and occupations. Currently she works at a waitress at a diner, hopefully able to hide amongst the humans.
