I'm fighting it, our house is surrounded by trees so there are lots of various spiders... And I have to protect my daughters :-SI don't mind heights and flying (I love traveling by plane).
no tarentulas! But there are big black spiders and others with black and yellow stripes!
I generally don't mind spiders but I think I would draw the line at tarantulas. I am terrified of all snakes.Has anyone seen the show "Monsters Inside Me"? That stuff freaks me out!!

Soooooo many phobias...I'm sharing Martins fear of spiders. And I'm scared of illnesses, strangers and telephone calls. (yeah I know I'm hopeless)
I'm scared that it will be a stranger on the phone and as I'm a bit of a controlfreak I don't know what to expect when I answer a phone. So when the phone rings I get scared.
I don't know if it's an 'official' phobia. I don't like strangers. I know it sounds a bit stupid because talking to you all and you are strangers. But in a written form I'm less scared because I have more time to think about my reaction and because of that the feeling of more control.
I don't like strangers either but much like you Karin and Aaron, I find the online forum an easy way to meet and talk to people.
Actually for me its harder to write to strangers! I took time deciding to be on GR or not. I don't like social networks and I'm still finding "good" arguments to convince myself that it's a really safe network!I like meeting people in reality, I love to do workshops with complete strangers, going into fablabs and creating things with people, sharing a bit of time doing things and then parting. It's so enriching!
And I also participate with my two daughters! They love that too!
Wow Martin! I love creating things as well. I write and craft a lot. But the thought of doing that with people I don't know freaks me out. I'm glad you like it though. :-)
