Caleb Carr's The Italian Secretary was excellent-not surprising, it was commissioned by the estate of ACD and I loved The Alienist and its sequel, The Angel of Darkness. I'm also loving In the Company of Sherlock Holmes. Last night I read a story from the perspective of the horse Silver Blaze - didn't see that coming!

That's so awesome! I'll have to add the Italian Secretary to my list. And I *love* that story from Silver Blaze's perspective!! <3
Finished In the Company of SH and what an excellent short story collection it turned out to be. My favorite story was Dunkirk by John Lescroart. He is also the author of the novel Son of Holmes which I plan to read this month as well
Oh is this where we are saying what we've finished? I've finished A Study in Scarlet, The Sign of Four, The Hound of the Baskervilles, & The Valley of Fear. I've started The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (I'm on A Case of Identity) I know this seems like a lot but I've been half reading it and half listening to it while doing other things. I'm pretty determined to finish my copy of The Complete works and I'm only 33% through.
