Brenda Here is a comprehensive list on the AWW site of New Releases for 2017 which Lizzy has compiled. If anyone knows (anytime during the year) of any which ARE NOT on this list, please post here and we'll get it added :)

Brenda No problems :) We may as well get help from all our group members - I'm sure they'll spot new releases other than the ones I do...

Alexandra Daw (luvvie) | 37 comments What an amazing list to be sure. Has anyone else read The Australian newspaper today? Some non-fiction titles to watch out for are Nikki Gemmell's memoir After published by Harper Collins due in March. And Kate Grenville's book The Case Against Fragrance which is published by Text and due out at the end of this month. Kate will be speaking at the National Library on 20th February at 6pm. Last but not least and to feed my current obsession with the fabulous Helen Garner also published by Text and due out in April is Bernadette's Brennan's A Writing Life: Helen Garner and her work.

Alexandra Daw (luvvie) | 37 comments PS I looked for all the January titles on my library's catalogue but could only find The Florentine Bridge and Gifts for our Time. It's about time I read an Anna Jacobs (I'm appalled to confess I didn't even realize she was Australian - oh I see, born in Lancashire, lives in Australia). These will both be good for me to read because I don't normally read romance but it is a very popular genre at the library and I need to broaden my knowledge.

Brenda After by Nikki Gemmell April 2017 (Non Fiction)

The Case Against Fragrance by Kate Grenville 30/1/17 (Non Fiction/Health)

A writing life: Helen Garner and her work by Bernadette Brennan 3/4/17 (Non Fiction/Memoir)

Thanks so much Alexandra! Lizzy will add them to the list :)

Suz Thanks for the link, Brenda. Also Alexandra, as you're reminding me about books from Helen Garner and Nikki Gemmell that I have!

Excellent, thanks, Brenda. I'll certainly add these to the list. (The list started out as adult fiction but I should add the other categories.)

Thanks, Alexandra! Hopefully, things will quieten down now once everyone is busy reading. :)
