A random oasis in the desert

Qibli flew over to the oasis to stop for a drink. He landed a few feet away from the other SandWing. He started to drink from the pool, but stopped to glance over at the other dragon. He couldn’t quite put his finger on who she was though. His wounds from his battle with Winter stung and he began to splash water on them, attempting to be as quiet as possible.

Qibli jumped a bit but couldn’t keep a huge smile from appearing on his face. “Ostrich!” He said happily. That was it, Ostrich. Qibli just began to realize how long it had been since he’d seen his old friend. He just stood there in shock taking the whole thing in. He wanted to say something but for once in his life was lost for words. All he could manage was, “Wow.”
