Along with other shops in the city, the coffee shop has a large glass window that passers could peak into. Along the window are tables with four chairs. In the middle theres tables with stools for two. There's another, longer, black table with stools. After that is where the cashier is behind glass show case of pastiers and dessert. Warm and cold drinks are severed. Coffee, French villina, mocha, and even a shot of blood can be given, or just blood.

Armis followed Hana out of the building and into the street. Man has it been some time since he's been out here, without cuffs. He walked close to her, but still kept his distance. Was she really offering him food? "Yah." He admits. He was actually staving. They didn't feed the feeders here very well, since they still weren't being used. Plus they didn't care for them. Besides, he was a boy. When wasn't he hungry? He noticed that she spoke a lot thought. More than she needed to.

Emma Hana smiled, glad that he was at least responding. "That's good. I notice a lot of people getting their baked goods, so I'd recommend that." she fell into pace with him, walking briskly down the sidewalk. "There's coffee too. Whatever you want, really. Here." she fished around in her pockets and came out with forty dollars. She put it in his hand. "We can go buy stuff later. Like, clothes and music and stuff. Whatever you want to do."

Armis raised an eyebrow in confusion. She was.... Nicer than she's supposed to be. Feeding him? Buying clothing's for him? She was basically spoiling him. Which was weird for a master to do for their servant, or at least that's what he expected. He stared at her for just a second before he continued to walk. They finally reached the cafe, where he opened the door and walked in. The bell above their head announced their entrance. "why... Why are you doing all of this?" He asked her and walked in. The smell of the pastries and coffee lingered and the air, and it made him very hungry.

Emma Hana looked at him for a minute. He acted as though he was surprised. "You...are a person. You know this, right? People eat food and wear clothes. Do you want to live like an animal for the rest of your life?" she asked, taking a seat at one of the tables. "Also, people are supposed to help one another."

Even though he didn't want to admit it, he was really glad to have a feeder like her. Ever since he was captured and taught about how he would be a feeder to his master, he only imagined how cruel she would be. But Hana.... She was different. She wasn't cruel at all. Still, he did wonder if she planed to feed on him. He didn't want that of course. But would that be another surprising thing from her, to not feed on him? Amirs moved to sit at a table with her. He looked over her and couldn't help but ask, "did you want to become a vampire?"

message 7: by Emma (new)

Emma Hana shook her head, picking up a sugar packet. "No." she said simply, adjusting her cap. "I know a lot of people do, or they grow to want it, but I never did." she added softly, messing around with the sugar packet. She looked at him. He could probably understand. Even though he acted aggressive, there was something nice under there.

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) | 392 comments Mod
Armis watched her fiddle around with the pack of sugar. She seemed like the type of person to always want to be doing something, like she couldn't stay still. But who knew? He could be wrong. After all they've only been together for what? Thirty minutes? "Then why did you change? You had a choice." He tells her. He knew that for sure. All females were given a choice -unlike men- to ether become free and a vampire, or stay human and be a servant. He didn't understand why she would give up her humanity.

message 9: by Emma (new)

Emma "At least with being...what I am, I get a little freedom." Hana said, looking at Armis. He was asking her questions, for some reason. Hana thought he hated her. "And I was scared back then." She dropped the sugar packet on the table and started folding her napkin.

((Hey. Sorry for the absence. Had a lot going on. Three exams. Being a bridesmaid to a family wedding. Family over. And not to mention being sick as hell. I'll post soon though. ))

Emma (( Sure! ))

Amir's didn't say anything afterwards. What were there to say? He still didn't agree with what she did. Turning to a vampire to be spared. That just showed weakness. But it was none of his business. He looked away from her hands that were now folding the napkin and around the cafe. All he thought about was food. He really was starving, and something warm sounded like a good idea now.

((I was thinking we can stop here so we could continue with them at the ball?))

Xena sat in the corner of the coffee shop in a plush chair as she watched other women go about their days. It really was refreshing. Being surrounded by like minded women. She smiled as her slender fingers gripped her latte and brought it to her plump lips to take a sip. Bittersweet. Just like her. She seemed so content here it would be hard to see why she would still harbour a soft spot for the men now used for feeding. It wasn't personal, rather her pure common sense. She knew that the scales of power in this newly created world were unbalanced. There was undoubtedly be a blow to the people high in power at the moment. History would most certainly repeat itself. This self sustaining system that has always fought to maintain balance will seek to even itself out. One way or another. All these thoughts she had were in the blink of her eye as she placed her cup down and swallowed slowly, taking in everyone and everything around her.

bubblewaffles Jules was walking around, nose in a book, with a velvety red cover, and golden threads were sewn to hold together the binding and the pages. She was intrigued by how things were before vampire hierarchy arose. She put her book down, bookmarking the book with her left index finger after reading something likely disturbing. She looked up, realizing she had strayed into the coffee shop and shrugged. She headed inside, realizing she hadn't had her go-to favourite order, a chocolate chip milk coffee that tasted a bit more like cookies and cream than it did coffee, but nonetheless, she loved it. She arrived at the "front desk" and ordered her go-to, which made the bartender stare at her weirdly when she handed over the coffee. She looked around and decided to sit in the corner near the window, where she could read peacefully, without drawing too much attention to herself.

Xena's gaze was captured by an intricately bound book a girl was reading. She knew what the book was about. Heck, it was hard not to know. She was just curious as to why this girl even cared about life before the change in power from humans to female vampires. Watching her as she got up and order a beverage for herself. Xena took another sip of her own drink as she watched the girl carefully. For some reason she felt like this girl and she would be meeting much more often.

message 17: by bubblewaffles (new)

bubblewaffles Jules noticed a girl, perhaps not more than three years younger than her. She pretended to continue reading as she inspected a girl who was staring at her book. She inspected the girl's appearance too and focused. Well, Jules wasn't normally interested in people, but just that someone was staring at her book and not her for a change made her interested in figuring out why. She sipped her coffee-ish drink and got back to "reading". She liked the girl's hair, but reminded herself that she was supposedly reading, and had to look at the book more than everywhere else.

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

Xena caught the girl's gaze shift to her now and again and she smirked and leant forward on the table and stared her back without fear. She was trying to see what result her efforts would achieve her. Uncomfort? Anger? Or maybe even curiosity? Either way she was keen to see how this girl would react. She downed the rest of her straight coffee before moving onto her glass of blood and taking a tentative sip.

message 19: by bubblewaffles (new)

bubblewaffles Jules was shocked and impressed that someone would stare at her like that. She wasn't sure what to do and closed her book and looked down, and away from the blood as she felt drawn. She decided to approach the girl, holding the book in one hand as she walked up to the girl, careful not to seem too confident, or too nervous.

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

Xena smiled to herself as the girl got up and approached her. Good good, she thought to herself as she eyed her and then looked at the book. When she was within earshot, she tilted her head and met her eyes "Why would a woman like you be interested in such things?" she asked, referring to the book. SHe was wondering if she would get a retaliation for calling her sweet, maybe even a confession for her interest in life before now. She was surprised such books were even allowed to exist. They would give people second thoughts. Reminisce about life before this glorious era. Spark revolution.

message 21: by bubblewaffles (new)

bubblewaffles "I'm not sure, I just wanted to read more about why women wanted to rebel against men." Jules shrugged. "Can I sit down?" She asked, not wanting to stand up awkwardly. She wasn't sure that the girl was interested in talking to her, or gaze was just caught by the red book in her hand. She remembered her drink and quickly ran back to retrieve it. She turned back and walked to the girl. Her eyes flickered back to the drink in the girl's hand.

Christopher (tratser) | 20 comments Stephanie walked into the coffee shop just thirsty and wanting a quick pick me up from all of the looking she has been doing lately. It seemed as if the more she hunted the more her trials got harder and she would never be able to see Matt ever again. She ordered and then sat down onto a table to wait for something to just happen but it nothing would just happen.
