I learned from the Learned Man of Quran that one needs to master fifteen (15) knowledge to really comprehend the Quran. So, for a commoner like me, I can Read, Translate and read the Transliteration. However, to deeply grasp the clear comprehension, I must attend direct classes under the guidance of a Learned Man of Quran. That is why, I discouraged discussion by those who aren't equipped with the necessary knowledge to discuss it. Any discussion should be just on the translation and not the transliteration because the Quran is largely divided into the Muhkamat (final commands) sentences and Mutasyabihat (open for discussion/conclusion/interpretation) sentences. In general if by reading the Translation, we can grasp the general meaning and intent. It is not that difficult.
It is also divided into six (6) main Topics i.e 1Allah and Allah's Virtues/Traits 2Tales of The Preaching of all the Prophets 3Tales of Those Who Followed The Prophets 4Tales of those Who Detested the Prophets 5The Hereafter 6Laws. Most Muslims know about the number of Juz (30) and Surah (114). It is also sufficient.
One of the basic knowledge of the fifteen (15) needed is the Arabic Language and all it's Rules. Other knowledge are about the History of How Each Sentences were descended, to who and on what issue. Also, total understanding of the Hadith of Muhammad s.aw.
