Blurb:

Fifteen-year-old Amelia Fafnir was born into a high-class family. People know her as the "elegant, intelligent, yet clumsy princess". Amelia and her mother don't get along very well because of her high expectations of her, and as a result she pays more attention to her little sister Carissa.

One day, she discovers a huge secret. The home economics room is actually the base of operations for Spirits–humans who have died with regrets and remain in the world until it is erased. And to prevent more people from becoming Spirits, they form contracts with humans and grant one of their wishes.

Ethel, a kindred spirit, forms a contract with Amelia. However, she soon finds out that the Underworld isn't what it's cracked up to be. The Spirits sworn enemies are Dark Fairies–evil being who take advantage of human's weaknesses–and their target is Amelia.

The deeper Amelia delves into their world, the more she starts to see the darkness the Spirits hold, as well as the secrets they keep from her. Will Amelia be able to stop the Dark Fairies and stay with the Spirits–or will she be lured into their dark world and never be able to return?
