I realized that we didn't have a "Yay, I finished my book and now I want to tell you about it!" thread. My bad!

I will start!

So, I just finished "The Sleepers in the Dust" by Darren Jones. It is a Doctor Who story that I found on Overdrive. It's read by Arthur Darvill who plays Rory in the show. I really enjoyed him reading it and how it felt like an episode of the TV show!

What have you just finished reading?

Okay, so this past week I have finished 2 books.

"Yes, Please!" by Amy Poehler

"The Only Pirate at the Party" by Lindsey Stirling

Both were read by the authors and I really enjoyed them. I have to admit to enjoying Lindsey Stirling's book better. Her stories connected with me a bit more and despite her difficult times, she has a rather positive vibe. Amy Poehler was really funny though. Both were awesome readers.

Just finished "Furiously Happy" by Jenny Lawson. She's so funny!

I listened to that on audio as well. I really like how she reads it. Its like listening to a friend catch you up on her day xD

Yes! A very sarcastic friend who had a bad day but is willing to laugh about it. xD

Finished "Lost Voices" by Sarah Porter. It's a really cool book about mermaids. :D

Finished "Once Upon A Flock" and I really liked it!

Finished "The Twice Lost" by Sarah Porter. SUPER GOOD.
