Shnork shows his patience/impatience drive philosophy with Mnatsagan while scanning/digitizing Armenian genocide stories. Mnatsagan tells a story of playing violin as a boy and birds come to listen to him play, so he'd play even longer. Later, he found out that his mother had scattered birdseed around to keep Mnatsagan playing "for the birds."
Shnork futher discusses "bad drivers" and traffic as its own language. Obviously distressed thinking about the content of the boxes, Mnatsagan says he understands why Shnork won't speak Armenian--but he wishes Shnork would play music for him again, saying, "even one note would do."
