Frana Hoke scanned the area before landing softly on the cobblestone street from the rooftop. Her parents told her to buy some girdleroot for medicine from a local seller. Her family were herbalists and were proud of it. They were well known in the town except for when her younger sister, Freea, would throw a tantrum, complaining that her clothes ripped even though she was the one who actually ripped them.Walking down a dim lit street she sighed, recalling the memory.
Flor attempted to sell her wares on the side of the street,
"I have ancient spell books, at a bargain price!" She said to the crowds, but they walked right past her.
Her master had forbidden her to try any of the spells in the books, but she was tempted to do so, just once.

Her master had forbidden her to try any of the spells in the books, but she was tempted to do so, just once.
Frana shook her head, her high, red ponytail waving in the hair, as she heard the encouraging of soon-to-be-purchased items from vendors. Sometimes you would find marvelous goods but most of them weren't what they claimed to be. One time, Frana made the mistake of buying a table that was suppose to give out refills of whatever food her family laid on the table. The refills never came. She wasn't going to be tricked from these sellers. She was sent out to do one thing: but the girlderoot and get out of the town as quick as she could.
Opening the thickest, most ominous-looking book on her table, Flor flipped to a random page. The title of the spell was in Latin, so she couldn't tell what it was supposed to do. Whatever happened, it was going to be worth the risk.
"Vocavi, et potestas tenebrarum," she read aloud.
Suddenly, shadowy wraiths descended from the sky and began attacking.
((You can Google translate if you want to know what it means))

Frana whipped her head at the sky then searched for the caster. She or he couln't have been too far unless this was an actual attack. She gripped her silver sword which hang loosely on her belt. Even though Frana wasn't very well trained, at her young age of sixteen, she could fight off these creatures if she had to.
"Master Sarain won't be pleased," Flor muttered, not paying attention to the chaos around her. An idea struck her; she'd always wanted to be free of her cruel master. "I saw him summon the creatures! It's his fault!" she yelled, pointing at Sarain, who was examining some fruit a few tables away.
Frana heard yelling and then a pointer finger was directed at a man. She made her way over to him and hover the sharp end of her sword at his throat. "If you want to see the next morning sun, you will depose of these creature which you have summoned. Now!"
((Sorry, I got hit with writer's block. Lol)(
Saipan was a cruel man, with a sallow face and cold eyes, but he was not dishonest. "I didn't summon them," he said. "However, you might want to confront my apprentice, over at the book stand. She's been known to play with magic."
"And you aren't?" Frana asked with a hiss. "She could be an ordinary girl. Summon her here and then i'll see if your word is true."
With a quick gesture, Sarain summoned Flor, who went from cold and confident to trembling and nervous in the presence of her master.
"Tell this woman the truth," he said.
Instead, she turned on him.
"I've had enough of being tormented," she said, strangely calm. Then, she directed a bolt of energy toward him. He stumbled backwards, then collapsed.

((Okay, so, with school and everything I don't think I can keep this up. Sorry. Thanks for participating and being patient with me))
((No problem and you're welcome. Maybe we could do it later! :D Should I then erase the thread or keep it up just in case?))
((I think you should keep the thread, but lock/close it. I'll pm you if I want it open again))
