Oh Hannah, this is such a brilliant question!
I need to think about mine, but I can't wait to see what everyone else says.

Thanks, Shae! Can't wait to see what you decide yours is!
I think mine would be this mountain clearing I used to go to when I was small, with my parents. it was surrounded by the red mountain faces and had a waterfall tucked away in one crevice. Wildflowers were dotted all around. It's the most peaceful place I've ever been.

I think my sunlit zone would fluctuate. Right now I imagine it being the secluded and beautiful beach on the other side of "El Tunel de Guajataca" in Isabela, Puerto Rico (my hometown). Google it to understand why!
I'm not 100% sure of what mine would be. Your sunlit zone is supposed to be where you feel safest. I *love* the ocean and have many fond beach related memories, so quite possibly mine would be by the sea, or in a very forested or mountainous area. It could also be my music room.
I think mine would be outside at my old home. All of my memories were made there and some of the best were from when I would sit outside and play with my friend. Or my bedroom, that's where I read and listen to music.
My favorite places all have to do with people, but given the idea that sunlit zone = safety and contentment, mine is a little offbeat and very specific. I think it would be under my dad's desk in the office he had years ago. When I was little, I would crawl underneath and pull his leather chair in as tight as I could to hide and take a nap. It was warm and dark and smelled like the chair and my dad's cologne and I could see out of the crack at the bottom to spy on anyone coming into the room. The real dimensions wouldn't work as an adult, but it's my sunlit zone, so I can fit however I want, thank you very much.

I think mine would be the yard of my childhood house in New Mexico. It's open, and free, and it just goes on and on. Like a dream would. So I guess, that makes sense?

"Everyone in the world has a dreamscape, the beautiful mirage inside thier mind. In dreams, even amaurotics saw their sunlit zone-just not very clearly...My sunlit zone was a field of red flowers, a field that rippled and changed depending on my mood."
That got me thinking, what do you think your own sunlit zone would look like?
