Oliver sat at the edge of the pond with his guitar in his lao. He couldnt see the pond but he knew he was there because of the sound of the water. He always found the sound relaxing and it helped him clear his head from the stress of school. His head faced forward as he played a few different notes with his guitar, just messing around. Oliver smiled a little before just playing a few notes in a row, a melody he came up with a few days ago.

Oliver continued to play his guitar until he heard the sound of splashing. He moved back away from the water a little bit because he was unsure of what it was that was splashing. It could be a person or an animal, but he was better safe then sorry. He didnt want his guitar getting wet. After he backed up a few inches, he went to playing his guitar.

Oliver continued to play for a few more minutes before stopping. He had to take a moment to stretch out his fingers because they had started to cramp up. They use to never do that, but then again he use to play almost every second he could get. Now that he was at Lakewood he didnt have as much time to practice as he use to.

Oliver leaned stretched out his fingers a little, cracking a few of them. He decided to pull out his guitar pick and use that instead of his fingers. Once again he began to play, this time he played something a little bit faster that had more notes to it then his previous music he was playing. He moved his head downwards, as if he was looking at his guitar even though he was unablw to see it.

Oliver was unaware of the person that qas moving closer to him. He couldnt hear anything but his guitar and the spund of the water that was near him. So when he heard the voice he jumped, stopping his music. "Thank you." Oliver turned his head in the direction that he heard the voice come from, a small smile on hus face.

Oliver shook his head. "No just startled me a little bit. Its alright. The smallest of things tend to make me jump." By the sound of the voice he could tell the person he was talking to was female and she seemed nice so far. Since she hadnt made a joke about his eyes or being blind. He set hus guitar down in his lap, face up so he woukdnt have to hold it.

Oliver shifted a little in his spot to sit more comfortably. "Is that so?" He said with a small laugh. "But really, its alright. Im use to it by now." He placed a hand on his guitar and absent mindly messed with the strings, just plucking them at random. He gave her a small smile.

Oliver could tell by the way she talked that she was probably around the same age that he was. He had noticed over the years that people younger then him talked a little different. They had different slang words and liked to use 'text' talk. "The name is Oliver." The one thing he hated most about being blind was not know if he was dirscrly looking at the person he was talking to or not. "Its nice to meet you Rosabella."

Oliver heard her sit down next to him and moved so he was facing her to make it easier to talk to each other. "I taught myself how to play mostly. Once I came here I took a few classes to help me perfect some of the skills. Even thlugh I couldnt see, the class was fairly easy." He placed both of his hands on to his guitar.

Oliver gave her another smile. "Thank you. It was something I came up with a few days ago." He thought for a moment. "I know quiet a few songs. Anything specific you want to hear?" He knew a few counry songs, although he wasnt a fan of country music. He had to learn them for one of his classes. He also knew quite a few alternative songs and pop songs. Along with a few eighties songs.

"Learning to play can be quite a tidious thing." Oliver thought about his song choices before he picked the first thing that came to his head, one of the first songs that he learned on his guitar, Im Yours by Jason Mraz. He bit his lip as he felt for the strings. He was thinking about singing but then got a little self conscious and went with just playing the guitar.

"Thank you. I could still use some more pracrice though." Oliver was never the type of guy who had a big ego and would blost about everything he did. He was more modest then the typical male. "I do some singing too but mostly by myself. I dont usually sing infront of others. At least when I know they are listening, I dont sing."
