Intriguing...."I have mixed feelings about her Skolian Empire series, but the Major Bhajaan sub-series she started in 2014 (with no follow-up yet - I guess all that math teaching really is messing with her writing) was more to my taste - being an SF/mystery mashup rather than SF/romance.
