War* (warr) | 14 comments The soft sunlight streamed into the darken cell from a small window on the far left wall, the light illuminating the face of a man who slept on the hard wooden bench pushed against the opposite wall. Groaning softly, Matthias blinked open his eyes, holding a hand up to block the light as he glanced around, memories of how he landed in jail for the third time this month filling his mind. He was on his way back from a late night stop at the convenience store to pick up a few things for the pack when he noticed a pair of vampires feeding on a human, and foolishly he thought he could take them on alone. He reached up a hand to the side of his head and his fingers came away damp with blood, for the past few years he hadn't been healing as quickly as he should. Matthias slowly got to his feet, swaying slightly as he fought to regain his balance, the blow to his head doing more damage then he realized. He took a few steps closer to the cell bars, the caustic scent of the silver, meant to keep people like him from escaping, burning his nose the closer he got. He glanced down the hallway to see if anyone was here to bail him out, hoping it wasn't going to be the Alpha, since Matt wasn't really in the mood for a lecture.

Eve O. Spellman Sapphire was walking down the hall briskly. She had a bag on her shoulder. She was looking at the cell numbers and then she found the one where the injured man was kept. The guard spoke to her, "Name and business." Sapphire gave a kind smile, her eyes ardent with warmth. "Dr. Diamond. I am here to tend to the wounds on the prisoner." She said lightly. The guard nodded and unlocked the door. Sapphire walked in and the door shut behind her with a thud. She stayed away from the silver. She saw the man and gave a small smile. "Hello. I'm Dr. Diamond. You?"

War* (warr) | 14 comments Matthias noticed the woman quickly walking down the hallway, his dark green eyes keeping a watch as she came close to his cell. He was harshly ushered away from the door as the guard unlocked it for her, causing him to huff slightly in annoyance as he went to go sit on the bench. He didn't want a doctor, he just wanted to leave. "Matthias Elderick" he spoke, his voice rough from just waking up, and from the night he just had.

Eve O. Spellman "Nice to meet you Mr. Elderick." Sapphire said. "Now, why are you injured?" She sat her bag on the ground and squatted next to it. she opened it and took out some water and bandages. She smiled at him. She stood up.

War* (warr) | 14 comments Matthias stiffened slightly at the woman's formality, that wasn't a name he ever wanted to be called, too many bad memories attached to it "...just call me Matthias" he spoke, his gaze drifting over the medical supplies she was placing on the floor. He shrugged his shoulders, a sharp bolt of pain coming from his back causing his face to screw up. "...I think I tried to make friends with a brick wall" he replied, remembering that one of the vampires caught him off guard and threw him into a wall.

Eve O. Spellman Sapphire nodded and slowly approached. "I'm going to tend to your wounds, okay?" She still was smiling. The smile never left her face. She was always trying to help and be kind. That's why she wanted to be the town's doctor. She waited for his reply.

War* (warr) | 14 comments Matthias sighed, his green eyes glancing towards his fingers which were still stained red, his body felt listless as he shifted his weight slightly. "Then can I go?" he questioned, throwing a glare to the guard outside the cell, in Matt's eyes he had done nothing wrong and didn't see any reason for him being here. He sighed again, looking towards Sapphire before he agreed to the treatment. "Fine" he said, hoping by cooperating with her, he could get back to the pack sooner.

Eve O. Spellman Sapphire shrugged. "I'm afraid I don't know. But I'll see what I can do." Sapphire began to fix him up. After about five minutes she had fixed him. "Here." She handed him a wet-wipe. "Don't need a vampire smelling that." She said, slightly angry. She packed her bag up and sighed. She frowned for a second but that was quietly replaced with a smile. She looked at him. "Anything else?"
