L. | 29 comments Finished Prince of Fools and loved it, so The Liar's Key will also go into the jar!

Onto The Remains of the Day. Plus, I'm placing hold on the third Cinder at the library.

That's exciting Leo

L. | 29 comments It took much longer than expected to finish The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro . It was excellent but made me depressed enough to only be able to consume in small doses :(

I'll pick up Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer comes Monday and read it in parallel to listening to my fourth pick The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle, #1) by Patrick Rothfuss .

I've only watched the movie and I remember being so sad too. Was always wanting to read the book but find it difficult to especially after watching the movie.

I feel you. I initially wanted to watch the movie after the book, but now I think I'd better put it off for a while at least.

I'd say wait a little before watching the movie. As you already know the movie adaption might sway too much or stick real close to the book.

L. | 29 comments Done with Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer , and it was meh for me. I won't add the sequels into the jar, though I may pick them up later.

Next one is Divergent (Divergent, #1) by Veronica Roth , which I need to pick up from the library. But I guess I still have Paper Princess (The Royals, #1) by Erin Watt and the rest of The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle, #1) by Patrick Rothfuss to read/listen before then.

I enjoyed Divergent but didn't read the last one. I think it's because there were so many spoilers that I just wasn't interested any more.

Yep, that's why I never read on and also book 2 was just okay for me.

I've been pretty much spoiled too, but I want to see what the hype was about. Not sure if it was the spoilers or not, but book 1 has failed to impress me so far.

I saw from a different thread that it didn't quite impress you...we can't love them all.
