Fireheart's traitorous enemy Tigerclaw has been vanquished and exiled from Thunder Clan -- but Fireheart can't shake the feeling that he's lurking in the forest, waiting for his chance to strike.
That's not the only problem facing the young warrior in these blazing summer months, as he struggles to handle sinister omens, an apprentice with a shocking secret, and a devastated Clan leader who is a shell of her former self.
Meanwhile the forest gets hotter and hotter ... and everyone braces for the coming storm... Ages 10+.

Okay haha. Tbh I'm not getting to this this month, because it's not tagged MP romance, and I'm reading specifically for a challenge this month, so yeah XD But even if I wasn't, I'm still seriously behind on brs haha.

It's getting harder and harder for me to really gets points or a team that actually shows up and/or puts the right amount of work in and I'm just burnt out. I had a horrible reading month last month (still finished 4th thou) but my heart is just not into it anymore.

Basically. Like the other serious teams have 115/127 chat posts on their threads, my team is at 31... it was the same way last month too.

Ask to swap to Team Darling (the medium team coming 4th) as they've only got like 14 points and us (Muffin) have like 130.. It's really not fair on them that their team isn't reading. Maybe you could suggest that so you have a more fun time?

Or you could just join my team coz our chat's insane XD

Sounds like my team now, we're in last with 105pts and 1st place has 232pts and 2nd has 227pts....

Aww sorry to hear that Brooke. I took a few months off from the challenges too. I'm just starting my first challenge again after a few months of break. I've been so busy lately. I didn't want to hinder my team that way.

But I get what you're saying. I had teams before that wouldn't talk at all and it made me not want to try for the challenge that month. But a break will help you. It was really relaxing to take a break for a couple of months. I got out of slumps and got back into reading again.

Oh yeah I'm fine with pushing this BR a month back.

However, I'm glad to see Fireheart finally rising to his deputy status even with all that's happening. Darkstripe makes me nervous. Out of everyone, he seems the most likely to turn especially now that Tigerclaw's going to be a leader. I feel bad for shadow clan, they haven't had luck with their leaders. For some reason I thought this was the second to the last book. I forgot there's 6 books in this series! (hide spoiler)]

I'm getting so frustrated at Fireheart's obsession with Spottedleaf. He wasn't in love with her in life, and she was a freaking medicine cat anyway! They're not allowed to take mates! It's like he's just falling in love with her in death, in dreams, and it's so stupid. (hide spoiler)]

Review: So pleased to be re-reading these books. They've been a favorite of mine for at least 7 years, and I'm re-reading them with some buddies. Amazing being back in this world :) I feel like not much happened in this book, apart from (view spoiler)[Bluestar going mental and the fire that destroyed their camp and killed Yellowfang. Oh, and Cloudpaw being so up himself and arrogant and then suddenly turning all humble and respectful after being captured. (hide spoiler)] I'll definitely be reading the rest of the series, because I'm loving all that's being revealed to me after not reading them for years, particularly all of this stuff being uncovered about (view spoiler)[Tigerclaw, now Tigerstar! I think he had a crush on her but because of that he highly values her input. And he's completely very oblivious to sandstorm. Poor thing.

Yeah a lot happened in this book but I felt like they were all just fillers and build ups for the coming 2 books. And I'm reading all of the series or however far we get. I've only finished the 1st series and halfway through the second because they didn't have a books made when I used to read them in middle school lol. But I want to read all the other series now that they are there.

Do you guys think we could continue onto April?

I don't mind waiting either XD I know I have a break from the 10th to the 20th but that's just to account for my large 500+ Brandon Sanderson book that I want to get read in that time frame. If I finish it sooner than that then I might be able to squish this one in :)
