I'm currently reading City of Heavenly Fire. Have read only its prologue so far.& I'll start to kill a mockingbird tonight.
I'm hoping to pick up To Kill a Mockingbird sometime today. And also, hopefully finishing The Hero of Ages.Thoroughly enjoying the latter - it has a few interesting twists that I have just reached. So, I am guessing it'll probably be better the second book in the series.
I'll be following Manju's lead and starting GGK's book today. Also, I started reading India After Gandhi: The History of the World's Largest Democracy this morning.

I'm not a huge fan of the Series, I'm reading it because this is the last book in series and I want to complete it.
Beside that it qualify for massive tome challenge :D:D:D

I wasnt a fan of the previous books too. But since this is the last book, Clare has outdone herself. It is much better than the rest of the TMI books!

Lets see how it goes for me.
I'm currently reading The Prophecy of Trivine. Wanted to read a sci-fi set in India and this was recommended to me. Pretty interesting so far!

Yay, you're reading King again? Though, I must warn you that Under the Dome isn't one of his best works. :|Good read, but there are loads better than this too. :)
@Sumit - it's part of a buddy read.. could not refuse.. hope to finish it soon, its really surreal this one.. can't make head nor tail :P
Sumit wrote: "Sri, it's also a TV series (which is significantly below average :P)"I am sure I don't want to see it :P :P
I finished Pandora's Star today morning. It was fairly good, though not as awesome as most of the reviews made it. Still, a 5 star rating for it.Started reading The Quincunx. I had received this a recommendation for a weird book :D
I just finished reading Stolen: A Letter to My Captor I found it pretty thought-provoking, and would definitely recommend it!

Yes I'm a huge fan. The amount of world building it has is staggering, characterization is great and it has some of the best duos in fiction. I just love Fiddler and Hedge, Mappo & Icarium, Tehol & Bug and sergeant Hellian is a blast.
More importantly the range of emotions that I go through when reading this series, it is something which I have not found anywhere else.

Its great to have a huge fan of this series with us and someone to discuss this one with us. :)
well I'm not impressed with the series. No doubt world creation is great but it has so many other flaws.
take the POVs, Erickson switch so abruptly from one person to other that sometimes it took me 3 or 4 pages to actually understand who the person is and what is going on.
Magic System: it plays such an important part and yet again Erickson never explains magic. I still don't know what different warrens and houses do exactly. which one is the most powerful and which one is the weakest.
But I liked Fiddler in second book :)
