Three walls are lined with beds, various equipment, and cabinets. The fourth has the door and the nurse's certifications framed on it.

Florence turned around and looked at the cut. It was horrible when a fellow teacher got hurt because they were all like one big family here, no matter how little or how big the injury was. "Oh dear. That is quite a deep paper cut. Here. Let me get a bandage for that cut right quick." She said as she went over to a drawer and grabbed a bandage. She grabbed some cream to stop the pain, rubbed it on, and put the bandage on over it.
Florence smiled. "No problem. It's what I do." She said with a grin. For her whole entire life she was kind of struggling with the whole medicine thing, but then she got better at it. Florence looked over at the nurse checking a text. Then, she lightly chuckled. "Hah! That would be very amusing if I did. I have to admit that she is sort of, lacking if I do say so myself."
Florence smiled as she crossed her arms. "Oh no! That's absolutely fine and it is not an inconvenience at all." She stated. Florence thought about the question for a few seconds. "Stressful. Some students don't like the fun little challenges that I'm giving them, but like I always say they are fun." She lightly laughed. "How are your classes going?"
"Well," Florence started. "Just like mini challenges. Sometimes I have the students pair up and try to make a medicine together in ten minutes or to figure out which vial is more like the other. Even though they are pretty easy, the students think that they are actually hard." Florence laughed a bit."Yes. I never thought that I would be teaching with older kids." She said with another laugh. "I know right?"
(( yeah! sounds good! ))Florence nodded. "That is true." She commented with a smile. She thought it was a good idea to go to the facility room. She didn't even know that the school had a facility room until a few days ago. Now she could have breaks outside of her classroom.
"That is very nice of you. I'll meet you there." Florence said with a smile as she went ahead to the facility room.
Amber kept clenching and unclenching her fists which were tightly place in her lap as she sat on a white chair by Jackson's side. The nurses said all the boy needed was rest and he would be alright. They gave him some medicine to help and Amber prayed that he was going to be fine.
((Jackson? Lol))Jacob slowly came to completely and started to sit up, but immediately groaned and went back down. "Ouch, what happened?" he complained.
((Sorry! :D))"You fell," Amber said slowly with a hint of sadness in her voice. "On the ground. Then the nurses came and brought you here to the infirmary. They said that you should get better in a few hours but luckily you didn't break anything and. . ." She smiled sadly. "It's just great to finally hear you talking again."
((:D It's fine))Before he could stop himself, Jacob blurted out what his first thought was. Maybe it was the meds? "It's a nice view to look up to." He would have clapped his hands over his mouth if he was feeling 100%, but instead he simply winced.
Amber blushed profusely then quickly looked out the windows. "Yes. It is quite nice."Was he. . . flirting with her? No, he couldn't be. They had just met! And besides, the view outside really was quite nice.
((Haha! Smooth Jacob, real smooth. :D))
((LOL))Jacob quickly looked out the window as well, not wanting her to know what he was actually talking about.
Amber quickly then turned her gaze back to Jackson and smiled. "Well, it's glad to see that's you're better and awake. Especially after being so still for hours. . ."Now it was her turn for wanting to clamp her hand over her mouth but she refused so instead, blush her pretty little head off.
((Hehe))
((I'm about to have to too))"I was asleep for hours?" Jacob asked, surprised. "I'm sorry you had to go through that. All I remember was that Sunny jumped too far- partly my fault for not helping her more- and I hit the ground."
Amber nodded. "Yes. We've been here for two hours. Thank goodness I didn't have too many classes. What about you?"
"I was done for the day," he told her. "I just had a few classes. I usually don't go riding until I've completed my classes since I don't have much time to shower in between classes or anything."
Amber laughed. "And it wouldn't make any sense to take a shower, be clean, and then get all sweaty all over again. It doesn't make sense. Well, I should probably head out now."She slowly rose from her seat and smiled sadly.
Jacob held back a sigh, not wanting to repeat his earlier mistake of appearing to flirt with her. "Okay, bye," he told her. "Did the nurses say how long it would be until I'm up and about?"
"Only until a few more hours," Amber smiled. "Which probably means you'll have to spend the night here."
"Wellllll a Chess board isn't any good without someone to play it with me," he almost winked at her but instead grinned.
"That's why," Amber started, choosing to look at his neatly combed hair, "I was wondering if I could play with you."
Jacob's grin stretched wider. "That sounds like fun," he told her. "I hope you will come visit later and play chess or checkers or whatever with me."
Amber raced out the doors and when twenty minutes past, she brought back with her, a smile and the Chess board as promised. "You want to be white oh injured one?"
Jacob stopped tossing a ball over and over at the ceiling and catching it and looked up. "Okay," he agreed. "Prepare to lose!"((Who should win? Is Amber good at strategy? Jacob is, but I stink at chess irl sooo I'm fine if Amber wins.))
((Hmmm. Jackson would most likely win then. ^.^))"I wouldn't be so sure about that," Amber smirked, placing the board between them and started setting up the pieces.
((Jackson? Haha :D Skip ahead?))Jacob grabbed the white pieces and set them up. He made his first move.
"What?" Amber stared frantically at her king and sighed. "You're right. Never underestimate the wounded."
Jacob grinned and looked outside. "Ooo look at the sunset!" (( http://www.classicalvalues.com/HazySu... ))
Jacob caught himself from saying another embarrassing pickup line. 'It's not the only thing,' and instead decided to be upfront. "Do you think pickup lines are funny?" he asked randomly. "I think some of them are totally lame and others make zero sense."
"Pickup lines?" Amber asked him, looking at his eyes. "What do you mean? I've never heard of those before. . ."
"It's when someone, usually a guy, asks a girl to go out with a lame line like 'Do you believe in love at first sight? Or do I need to walk by you again?' or 'I lost my phone number can I borrow yours?' or 'Date me if I'm wrong, but isn't your name Gertrude?'" Jacob explained. "They usually don't get you anywhere."
"Oh," Amber suddenly sat up even straighter and blushed on her cheeks. "Well, um, I can definitely see that they wouldn't get you anywhere."
"Yeah," Jacob agreed. Why was she blushing? He was just explaining a simple fact..((Boys are kind of dumb sometimes so))
"Well," Amber smiled, leaning forward to collect her pieces. "It was fun playing with you. I wouldn't mind if we did it again."
Jacob inwardly sighed with relief. She didn't seem mad like he thought she was. He smiled back. "I wouldn't mind either. You might have a chance to beat the champ someday," he joked. "What board games are you good at? Other than chess, of course. You were a formidable opponent." he amended.
"I love Battleship!" Jacob exclaimed. "Maybe they have one here somewhere and I could play you at that."
"Yes," Amber did a little fist pump close to her chest. "I have finally found someone in this Academy who loves Battleship. And I brought my set from home so we could play that also."
"Hm," Amber said, tapping her chin. "I really don't know. I doubt they would leave their patients starving/"
