The Bone Season Series by Samantha Shannon – A Read Along discussion

Hello, rereaders! We're well into The Bone Season now and are deep into the dystopian hellscape that is Sheol I and Scion-controlled London. Now that you're looking about with fresh eyes, what do you think? Do you understand things better or differently this time around? What clues or foreshadowing have you picked up that you missed the first time?

Even though this is my 3rd time reading TBS the world is so impressive there are still things that I'm only just picking up on, so it's definitely a book, and a wold that you can come back to again and again. But I do find it a lot easier now to slip into this world than I did the first time around

The world is definitely more understandable on a re-read (and after frequently the authors's blogs and getting to ask questions!). I've noticed on each re-read how David is someone we really need to watch out for. He seems to know an awful lot about the Rephaim and scientific applications for their blood, etc. This combined with comments he makes towards the end of the book (as well as the stage exploding, which was not part of Paige's plans) cause me to theorize that there is a faction within the Archeon that is trying to stage a coup, though I doubt we'll like their plans either.
I also think/hope that Liss's tarot reading for Paige continues to be significant.

Where did you find the author's blogs? I'm still having a tough time picturing the world Paige lives in.
