I'm feeling kind of stressed about school rn, and I desperately want to get the senior year over with because senior year is stressful, and I'm falling behind in some of my works, some of my econ worksheets were due today but I forgot to do them over the weekends, and the teacher gave us some class time, but I didn't have my textbook with me cause I usually just leave it at home even tho I'm supposed to take it with me, because I didn't want to deal with that heavy load, the teacher let me borrow a book but I didn't have much time to complete everything, and she said she doesn't accept late grades after tomorrow.....I can't afford to fail this class....

It definitely helps to organize your thoughts :) If you happen to have a smartphone, you can even use your Notes app. I usually write down everything that's due, even if they are due way in the future.
SmilingDork wrote: "Essays!!! Been writing so many I forgot how to write a thesis. I forgot what one even was......"Yeah a thesis can be a hassle lol. The key points I always keep in mind is that a thesis has to be arguable and very specific/thorough. If you can provide a counter-argument to your topic, that means it's arguable.

I can try that. But I'm also way behind in a project in as Adv Graphics Design and we start another project tomorrow and my adv Graphics Design teacher said that I can come in tomorrow during 7th period study skills, but I have to ask the study skills teacher and the GD teacher asked me today if I wanted to talk to the other teacher myself of if he should email her and I said I'd try because I knew I had to try but I couldn't do it, I couldn't ask her cause of my social anxiety and my GD teacher is gonna ask me if I talked to the teacher. Idk what to do and idk what to say.....

It's like I had a math test on friday. I really studied so hard for it. I stayed up until 11:30 studying for it. I got an 83% on it. I mean, people might think thats good but I excepted an A and it really disappointed me that I'm never good enough
Yup L.C! Just with this essay I forgot those keys and wrote more of a statement for a thesis rather and a thesis thesis. But I fixed it and just sent it in. I just don't like my conclusion. It is horribly rushed and forced but I think it will give me a good grade none the less. Just wish I can get out of the 80s with my essays....
I have a calc test on Thursday about derivatives and I am praying I pass. Will still study but god there is so much I don't get but at the same time it is stupid easy once you figure it out.

I've been suffering with that in college :/ I realize that you have to put a lot more work into studying than the people around you sometimes. Practice problems is a huge help. Study what you know, then study what you don't know but if you don't have a lot of time to study, put more focus on what you know. Eating breakfast is good for brain power and you have to sleep long enough so that your brain can digest what you've studied (this means 6 hours or more!)
Hope these studying tips help to whoever needs them :)

How does one get over from bad school/college experiences?

I would definitely send an email out, but also ask personally if you can. Try to plan out what you want to say ahead of time. Maybe practice it a few times and also write down how you want your day to play out. Homework-wise, it's good to write when you plan to do your assignments because you can also put breaks in between :) Snacks and a stress ball would be beneficial as well!
I hope this helps >.<
Gah......Senior year is a head spin, that is true Kavy. Do you have any colleges you applied for? I got two more lined up to submit and even those. it is late I am gonna try and find two more.

I think it varies for each person but for me I try to look as it as a learning experience. For example, I did absolutely terrible in my Chemistry class in my first year in college. I cried a couple times and I was really stressed out. Now looking back on it, I see it as a bit of a wakeup call. It helped me develop better studying skills and it gave me motivation because I never wanted to do that bad again. In my opinion, I don't think it helps to pretend a bad experience never happened. Doing that gives it more negative power. Always stay positive and know that next time will be better :)

No I haven't applied to any I'm supposed to be applying to a community college first because I have to go there for a year, and then I can go to my dream university, which I'd been wanting to go for YEARS now, I'd die if I don't get in....

my dream college is also close to home, but I'm dying to go, I'd been looking forward to college for a really long time now, and now that college is near.....so many things to do, and senior year is hard, and 11th grade ended a little badly with my grades dropping, I can't really blame myself because I was going through stuff at that time, and I'm still struggling through life, but I'm trying to keep my grades up, I want to be able to get into that dream college

I'd been living in the same place for my whole life now, and don't get me wrong I love Texas and all but it's gets boring after a while if you lived here your entire life, and a part of me wants to stay, cause I was born here in Texas, but a part of me wants to go to Virginia, or something because I like Virginia, I'd been there for a visit, and also my cousin lives there.

NP!!!!!! I would've named more mythology creatures but my mind was blank.
I'm really interested into Myths and all of the magical creatures, idc if they are "not real" they're real in my heart so there. And it's thanks to Uncle Rick, (Don't mind me calling him Uncle, he's not ACTUALLY my uncle but I just like calling him that) that I got interested into all of those myths, because before reading the Percy Jackson series I haven't been as interested into the Greek myths, tho I was really interested in Magic, I still love Magic, again, idc if Magic is not real, it's real in my heart and my imagination. but now after reading the Percy Jackson series, here I am interested in all the Greek/roman/Egyptian/Norse myths and I learned even more stuff then I learnt in school, honestly I learned way more things from those books then I did in school, sorry school, my dad doesn't really understand how important those fictional books are to me, and I don't think he will ever understand, but those books have helped me, and they taught me so much, and it was because of those books, that I learnt what to do and what not to do, idk what I'd done without those fictional books. Idc if they are just "fictional" or "just a book" or "just characters" but in my heart they are not just fictional or just a book or just a characters, they are everything to me

OMG I CALL HIM THAT TOO! AND OMG SAME!
You see, I was working on an art project where we had to fill up a jar with an item that can't be any type of liquid or gas, and my first thought was FAIRES. And so I decided that I would do multiple jars on a book shelf filled with magical creatures because we also had to have a background for it.
OMG YESSSSSSSSSSSS
THAT'S AWESOME!!!!!!!
oh yeah, this one time at the park, this person, I was starting to fall in love with Jason from Percy Jackson, idk why but I just love him. And this person at the park asked me why I loved Jason so much and said that he was "just a character". Ahem -_- And some other times, two ppl, got onto me about crying over fictional characters and one of them said that there are better things for me to do, other than crying over a fictional character -_- And when Rue in The Hunger Games died, I was crying, because it was so sad, and then THIS PERSON SAID IT WAS FUNNY, IT WAS NOT FUNNY!!! and one person said that it was amusing to watch a fictional character die, cause "they are not real" *sighs* ppl....JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE FICTIONAL DOESN'T MEAN THAT IT'S AMUSING TO WATCH FICTIONAL CHARACTERS DIE!! AND JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE FICTIONAL DOESN'T MEAN THAT THEY ARE NOT REAL!!! they at least have some truths, and sometimes I think that fictional characters are at least better than most ppl in reality, except for some ppl, I have some fictional characters as a family and best friends, and they'd been there so many times, I used to imagine that they are here with me, even tho they are here in my heart.

OMG SAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.A lot of people hate Jason and I don't really get why. It bothers me. Ugh, people.. But literally same when Rue died I was crying so hard and that was when I already knew she was going to die. When I don't know my reaction is soooooo much worse. Fictional characters are a part of their creator. A part that they wanted to share to the world and even though they might be fictional the lessons and the meanings behind the characters aren't.
