Ok so theres this boy that I DO NOT KNOW THE NAME OF. He's in texh theatre the same period Im in theatre. So he likes to talk to me before and after class and stuff. So yesterday he asked if I was doing anything this week. I said well I have a basketball game tonight. He asked where and when it was and stuff. I told him and that night HE SHOWED UP AT MY GAME. He waited for after the coach was done talking to us and stuff to come talk to me. I tried to take a long time but he didnt leave. Then he freaking INTRODUCED HIMSELF TO MY MOM!!!! I tried to be terse with him bc I did not want to talk to him. My parents didn't say anything about it until we got home. Then my dad asked who he was and I said, "oh some kid from my theatre class. I don't know his name." My dad said he liked me and I was just like No. nooooo. Oh no I feel so bad. My parents asked why I felt bad so I said, "because I don't like him back." They said not to feel bad so now I don't but I currently don't want him to exist. I am loathing tomorrow because I have to talk to him and I don't want to. I asked my friend how to "not lead him on" because thats what my mom told me to do but she had no advice on how to do it. She said she didn't know but to make it obvious that I had friend zoned him. I really don't want to talk to him. Any advice...?

you could be blunt and just say that you aren't interested in him and frankly, he's making you uncomfortable

Sam, he's a guy who liked me for a long time. He asked me out and I said yes, because I like him. We were dating and then, Alex - a guy from my swim team in Australia liked me too.. he asked me out and then he started like giving me presents and gifts and it got uncomfortable because I was dating Sam.. I told Sam we should pause for some time and take a short break.. God if anything could get better, Cole a guy who I have known since I was little texted me saying he liked me and he wanted to ask me out. I didn't know what to do! god what was I supposed to do??

Get mad at him. Give him a tough time for introducing himself to ur parents when u don't even know his name

Guys remember that guy I had talked about before? Well I can talk to him now, but this is really weird. So we like pretend agreed we would fight because I thought the Power Puff Girls was kinda a weird show and he loves it. Ever since then he's been lightly punching me whenever he gets the chance. He makes me want to run away from him because it makes me so uncomfortable. He makes me so uncomfortable. It's just really hard to avoid him sometimes. He used to not walk up to me when I'm talking to people but now he does. I have nothing left to protect me. I've told him he needs to stop, but he just won't listen.

My understanding based on this is that even though he clearly likes you, he doesn't know how to properly express it (which explains the awkward one-sided playfighting) and he also doesn't know how to take a hint (which explains the stalking and forced conversations) and its hard to get it across to him without being mean :/

But he also sounds like a fairly nice person and probably somehow doesn't even know he's making you uncomfortable. So my best advice is to tell him how you feel as nicely as possible without sugarcoating. Like, maybe you could say that you haven't really gotten to know him that well so he don't feel comfortable hanging around him all the time. Or maybe say you don't really like being touched so he'd stop with the light punches...

So today we had our school dance. My one friend tapped my crush on the should and said she is trying to get your attention, I just ran away. I really like him and I was trying to talk to him but I couldn't. The rest of the dance I saw him keep looking at me. I have no idea what to do and tomorrow is the last day of school until next year.

Umm talk to him? You might have to work at swallowing your nerves when you do it but sometimes you just have to face your fears.

I ended up telling my crush I like him. He said he likes me as a friend. I now really want to start talking to him but I feel it will be awkward and I don't know how to do it.
