The funniest of this year's PK Dick nominees, and another short, quick read. When professional diplomats can't make any headway in connecting with an alien race of pink blobs, who better to send than a smartass Jersey girl? I got a lot of laughs out of this one, and Rose makes a perfect (if nontraditional) ambassador.

A fun romp with Aliens where you find your best self. (And lots of sex and bodily functions. Which seems to be a thing this year.)
It also has a poignant lesson learned that your childhood memories are only part of what happened to you back then. If we talk with our siblings we can get a better insight into what made us who we are. And how to enjoy the rest of our life.
