LDS Ladies Book Club discussion

Good day, ladies!
I am hoping that I might find some answers here.
I am looking for a book that was published in 1993 and sold at ZCMI.
It is a story of a girl, her mother, and brother who get separated from their wagon train , preyed upon by bandits and are saved by an Indian boy who was abandoned with his mother in a cave by his tribe and raised LDS by his adopted white father and grandparents.
The story is written so that one chapter is told by the girl and the next chapter is told by the Indian boy.
They eventually fall in love and get married.
