I recently started Rick Riordan for the first time because my sister has been bugging me about it for YEARS. I've read through the first five Percy Jackson and the Olympians books, and now I'm onto Kane Chronicles. Heroes of Olympus is next!

Kane Chronicles is a little weird because of the recording thing. It's obvious they survive because they're talking in some future time.

That's true and it definitely gets confusing sometimes,because you know they not dead.
